interviews on tv shows seabrook questioning the league on the non suspension toews saying he was intending to injure brent keith saying it was dirty coach q is disgusted
1 No retaliation at all 2 1st period they go after him 3 late in the game when 1 team is clearly in the lead.
if they do go after him who is the designated guy?

I really dont think that they will be worrying about Torres at this point. They are down 3-0 in the series and need to put all their attention on playing their game and winning. Only scenario I see happening is your 3rd option.

The only way it gets ugly is if the Canucks are holding a substantial lead in the third (two goals ahead or more). In which AV won't even play the Sedins...
If it turns into a line brawl the only player you have to worry about is John Scott, overall the Canucks have more middleweights than the hawks. They should have no problem with retaliation.

i am just curious on wiggins thoughts. cuz now come to think of it - i would not put it past the hawks to do that. quenville was certainly not an angel when he played. seabrook is not chi's best player - so why take out the nucks best.

Torres deserves whatever he gets tonight and I am also shocked that he didn't get a suspension. Why is it so hard to not blast someone in the head?
If I were Toronto, I would send Scott after Torres in the 1st to give an extra pump to the crowd. If down big in the 3rd, all hell could break loose....Nucks better play smart tonight and look the other way in the 3rd if Hawks try to get nasty.

i watched nhl on the fly last night and they had colie campbell on the phone. rule 48 is for blindside or lateral hits. from what i got out of it - seabrook had his head turned ; however, his skates were pointed going towards the torres; therefore the hit was straight on not blindside or lateral. he also said the puck was in the area not early or late.
the panels conclusion of it was- dmen have to be aware of their surroundings and that they are pretty much fair game behind the net

The guy doesn't throw out his elbow, he wasn't head hunting (didn't come in full speed on Seabrook). Ya sure it may be a questionable split second decision type hit, but if your calling that hit classless - what do u call Kunitz and Downie hits?

yeah but take this for example; if guy B beats up guy C badly in the schoolyard does he exact revenge on guy B or go after his mother?
If hawks want revenge don't involve anyone else but torres that is what i am saying
Yea, I agree. However, if the Canucks have the game won, I wouldn't be surprised if one of the hawks players pulls a cheap shot of some sort on one of the Sedin brothers.

yes sadly i could agree with u here. quenville was as dirty as they come when he played. after all after the kesler breakaway in the 3rd keith went after kesler's head in the end boards
