Of course I'm taking about Portland here, the vultures of the NBA. These guys pick off wins wherever, and whenever, they can, because well, they're just not good enough. If Leonard is playing I will probably lay off this bet (though I have decided). But if he is not I will certainly make a small bet on the Blazers at the highest number I can get. Raptor cruised to two blowout wins, including the Warriors, and next up is the top team in the West (record wise at least), the Nuggets. So this is a classic "trap" game. Meanwhile, the blazers are reeling after a couple of losses. I hate betting on these losers, but if they are catching points at home, and Leonard is out, I'll make a small play.
The other game I like, is the Thunder in a revenge spot against Denver. The Thunder had chance to be the top team in the West on Wed when they lost to NO on ESPN. Now they get a chance to beat the top team in the west, at their(i.e., Denver's) house, on national tv (ESPN again).

Raps are my home team but after they have a few good games they seem to come out half awake altho with Leonard & now JV out that just might get them to come out swinging? Hard to tell with this team so I'm not sure what I'm doing but BOL to you tonight.

Vegas might be affecting me, but I say screw Leonard. What is he a delicate flower? Or just a diva? Keeps us waiting for his status game in and game out, like we have nothing better to do. Good. Hopefully it will motivate the blazers even more. It's a small bet anyway, right? No one is putting their life savings on this:)

I watched the Thunder game from beginning to end. I wish I hadn't. It was one of the most frustrating game's I've seen because the Thunder weathered Denver's haymakers in the first half and were finally in position to tie and/or take the lead when Westbrook went nuts. Shooting up a wild three then throwing a Denver player down in frustration as he went up for a rebound. Then there was the opportunity for a 4 point play when with a clear path foul but the Thunder got 0 points out of it. They missed over 10 free throws even though the refs were trying to help them (Thunder, the road team, got 27 and the Nuggets 15 attempts).
Oh, the horror! That team has not changed it stripes one bit from when Brooks was coaching. For the most part, they are still an undisciplined group of chuckers who go the way Westbrook goes. And Westbrook was strangely subdued all night, not really attacking or leading his team with the usual emotion and energy until he flipped out at the end of the game. The guy has obvious mental health issues and, because of that, the team lacks cohesiveness, as everyone (including coaches) seems to be walking on eggshells around Westbrook. Just look at the assist numbers for both teams. Denver 29 and OKC less than half of that. Adams and PG score over 58 points combined and all Westbrook 13?? Disgusting game. Disgusting team.
