I called the last 3 games of the ECF to a tea. The league was merely trying to extend series for ratings but Pacers never really had a chance. Crawford needed to toss Lebron out of game 5 w/ a questionable call in order for Pacers to even the series. Anyway I killed that game 7 and am up spite of a losing record for the playoffs (87-97-1). Unfortunately my 'conspiracy theories' may not be to the liking of some here. But i am sure many seasoned bettors know this league is corrupt. Spite of that i will continue my stance.
Let me just state that Miami will not lose this series! There will probably come many times throughout these finals that Spurs will dominate games and even the series much like the Pacers did. But it's a front, a ploy to extend the series & make it look like spurs have a shot. But in fact they don't.
I predict Miami in 7 but the series @ the very least will go to 6 games. Going to wait for Spurs to either be up or even the series and i will jump on Miami.

Spite of having a coach like Pop and having Parker, Duncan & Manu who are all vital for this series no other players have any real experience this deep into the playoffs. Playoff battle tested players are vital!
NBA Finals experiences by player:
Miami:
Dwyane Wade: 4th LeBron James: 4th Udonis Haslem: 4th Ray Allen: 3rd Juwan Howard: 3rd Mike Miller: 3rd Joel Anthony: 3rd Mario Chalmers: 3rd James Jones: 3rd Shane Battier: 2nd Norris Cole: 2nd Rashard Lewis: 2nd
San Antonio:
Tim Duncan: 5th Tony Parker: 4th Manu Ginobili: 4th Matt Bonner: 2nd
Not only are Miami stacked w/ experienced vets and players but have 3 all-stars, one considered the best player in the league, Queen Ledouche. You watch Wade & Bosh make a big turn around from where they were in the Pacers series. While this same Spurs team was beaten by OKC (whom are the only real threat to Miami) just last season in the WCF. Duncan, Manu & Parker as good as they are and have been aren't exactly the same players they used to be (though i am a big fan of Parker).
Anyway, this just adds on top of my crazy con. theory bout money, ratings and Heat being Sterns cash cows now that Lakers run is over. Nobody is beating Miami as long as these 3 cream puffs are together.
Not only did i already take Miami HUGE to win the ECF months ago but i whent Gigantic on them in game 7. I will most likely do the same here.

The problem with your "corruption" handycapping is that you can find plenty of examples disproving your theory. case in point: last years finals! They were the highest rated finals in years. games 6 would have been a ratings boom. there was a tight game 4 that could have been given to okc, but wasnt. another classic example: magic over cavs in 2009. the nba hype machine was going nuts talking about a bron vs kobe finals. there was a higb profile vitaman water commercial out featuring bron vs kobe early in the playoffs! It was setting up to be a huge marketing opportunity for league. and what happens? Magic upset the cavs in 6, which included several close games won by the magic.
there is no conspiracy. corruption theorists back-rationalize to justify their beliefs and convienently forget about numerous examples disproving their theory.

i respect your thoughts bob69 & i don't look down on anybody who has faith in this league as being str8 up. but you cannot possibly tell me that you think every single game, every single series, every single call is straight up. you can't possibly tell me that kings/lakers finals in 02 was legit. you can't possibly think joe crawford isn't a crooked mf - as well as other crooks like foster and mauer. you can't possibly think tim donagy was a rogue ref wich stern easily dismissed him as. the guy whent 24-4 or something last season picking games in the playoffs just to prove his claims are truth.
there's a saying "the further society drifts away from the truth, the more they will hate those who speak it" - g. orwell
I was so confident w/ miami taking game 7 i pretty much whent all in on the ML considering i also put a regular play on the spread (this while the entire board was on indiana), plus having placed a huge wager on them to take ecf months prior. i wasn't even sweating. i'm going to do exactly the same for this series. there's no way heat lose and have king jesus godly james lose to spurs again. like we all saw last yr w/ heat getting majority calls against okc we'll witness that again in this series.
spurs have no chance. just put money when spurs evens or leads in this series and go sex your girl or wife and play w/ your kids. this is the same ol story, w/ the same ol ending.

.... Popovich knows how to feed off of LBJ and crew
I wish you were right and Spurs hand the miamia cheats their as*ess on a platter - there's nobody in the world that would be happier than me if that was to happen. unfortunately it's not going to occur. Stern wants to solidify Lebrons status in this league so he can ride his new cow to the bank every single season. Kobe is getting old and retiring soon so he must find his new 'jordan' to crank up sales.

SAS last 13 seasons, how many times did they reach NBA finals?
2002-2003 Defeated NETS (4-2) - champion
2004-2005 Defeated DET (4-3) - champion
2006-2007 Defeated CAVS (4-0) - champion
SAS reached NBA FINALS (3) times in 13 seasons
MIA last 3 season,
2010-2011 Lost to DAL (4-2)
2011-2012 Defeated OKC (4-1) - champion2012-2013
2012-2013 will face SAS (0-0)
MIA reached NBA FINALS (3) times in 3 seasons
if you think SAS has the edge in the so called interconnectedness, maybe you want to re consider
MIA struggled against IND (took them 7 games), last year they also struggled against boston (which also took them 7 games), but see what happened to OKC. yes struggled against in ECF but NBA FINALS is a different story.

i agree that Miami have an improved chemistry - compared to what we saw in there (big 3 era) first season together especially. Add on top that fact that Lebron finally got the monkey off his back in regards to winning his first ship and you have a guy leading this team w/ much more confidence (rather than the quitter we saw years prior). Furthermore Lebron has revenge on his mind from 2007 sweep in the finals.
^^those are factors outside of my crazy con. theory - but add on top the officiating advantage and i just can't see Spurs winning this series.

Conspiracy theorist are theee worst type of people.. How many people would have to be apart of these supposed "fixed games": refs,1-16 players, about 10 coaching staff, etc etc and not a report out of a former Nba employee smh...

Super Line & Total Double: San Antonio Spurs +10.5 & Over 184.5 SAS +4.5
I wouldn't besurprised if Spurs takes this first game just to make the public believe they actually have a shot @ winning this whole thing.Plus another way o extend the series.
