LA/SA game 1 hadn't gone Over until less than two minutes in the game. The line is now up 3 points with most of the public on the Over, similar to the OKC game. LA bench outscored SA bench by nine points which to me is surprising. I don't see LA giving up so easy and SA is already looking towards the WCF. Look for the Clippers to come out with a lot of energy on defense and slow down SA perimeter game. No LA players logged in more than 30 min other than Chris Paul. My lean is...

With all due respect, what a meaningless observation as related to the potential of Game 2 going Over or not. After 3 periods of Game 1, they'd totaled 159 pts, just 33 short of going over the opening line of 191.5. SAS led by 18 just 20 seconds into the 4th period, and because of that gigantic lead then played lets-use-up-the-clock basketball which consequently saw them not score another pt for nearly 4 mins, THAT'S why they took so long to garner those lousy 30 odd pts to finally deliver the Over. LAC is a bunch of morons, they are not capable of stopping the Spurs scoring in their own house (in the reg. season they scored 115 & 108 pts at home vs LAC, what happened in Game 1 was entirely predictable), and so either they play catch-up basketball (= pts scored) or they get their asses hammered into the next century. Nothing guarantees Over pays out in Game 2, but why include SAs's scoring if you want to play an Under? Just take LAC's team total Under instead.

a few decent cappers in here seem to be leaning on the under but good point about the SA hold up in the 4th quarter. the under was pretty much guaranteed to be dead after the 3rd quarter, and it was only a slowdown in the 4th which stopped the 191.5 from being completely shattered

You're right but this game could have been fixed which is my point. Sorry, i did not state that because i didn't want this to be a debate about fixed games which I truly believe happens.

and still the final score was 200pts--it could have very well went 210----
people need to realize SAS is not a Deffensive minded team.---but an offensive juggernaut that rellyes on outscoring the opponents--and LAC is fast paced--so----over it is

Clips are well rested and they do show up on defense sometimes as well as SA. Duncan had 26, Ginobli 22. You don't expect these old guys two have those same numbers again do you? Playoff teams make adjustments.

well both those old guys have been putting huge numbers since last 100000000 games and at home --- what adjustments will LAC make --something new POP havent looked before --SAS is a steam roller right now deffensively LAC doesnt have the players to contain them--the problem is SAS has so many weapons ---- and as much as SAS adjust--- both teams are not deffensive minded they play to outscore the opponent

3 of the 4 qtrs last game went way under. Took a 58 pt 1st qtr to put it over. Under for me
you sir are a moron get ur facts right
1qrt 58pts---9 above line 2qrtr 48pts--- 1 under the line 3qrt 53pts--- 4 above the line 4th qrtr-- 41--7 below the line--and in this qrtr SAS milked the clock and due to the pt differencial the last min was completely lost and there was no fouling--if you make an average even with the few scoring droughs and the 4th qrt milking this game was over in the books by 3rd qrtr

It was two quarters. Regardless i still get your point. Only defense gets the job done against SA. So even if LA loses they should slow SA down. They are well rested.

FOLLOWMYLEAD I AM GOING TO LEAN ON INDIANA TO-NIGHT, WHAT DO YOU THINK?
Tuff game but i say go for it anytime the home team is getting points. MIA could end up winning by one or even losing this game. IND is home now and momentum has shifted. The crowd will be on fire in Indiana after that game 2 win. With Bosh out, too many signs point towards IND. LEBRON and WADE will both have to be on fire and MIA bench will also have to show up. That's got to be a tuff task for MIA. Over is still my favorite play. IND should score more in the paint tonight and both teams should keep the tempo up.

i coul still see this game going over the total. Sure the spurs shot lights out beyond the arc, but they did waste a lot of time in the 2nd half and tony parker only shot 1-9 and they still put up 108 points!! i think this game still goes over griffin and paul still arent 100%

SA -10.5. Spurs covered 11 points two days ago and now the line is 10.5. Why? Until the Clippers show me they can slow down the Spurs there I find no logical reason to take the Clippers at fewer points. Maybe if the spread was 14 I would lean LAC. Spurs are too good on their own court. They're too deep. And Pop is a god damn genius.
