Leaning towards taking the Bengals right now. Bengals have shown a lot on offense and have been competing against good teams. Miami started 3-0 but they played some weaker teams to get that record. Their first test against a decent team (patriots) was a disaster. I think that CIN has enough to pull out a win this week.
Back up pick is CAR. I originally had CAR as my pick but I feel like the Giants are going to come out firing this week. Odel has been talking all week about how they dont take shots down field and only run 20 yard plays....which makes me feel like this week will be different.
Looking for any input here. Thanks Guys

yeah I would stay away from the giants/carolina I feel as if this could be a trap game for Carolina. id lean towards the bengals, miami showed us last week who they really are against a good team.

my exact thoughts with the giants. they always find a way to win when they're least expected to show up. Odell has a chip ob. his shoulder from last time they played he will show up big. I like giants to win straight up here.

Bengals make it through...down 17-0 in the 3rd and somehow made the comeback. Panthers looked like they were going down late in the game but that miracle 63 yard FG saves them in the last second.
Week 6 here we come. Thanks again for the feedback guys

Week 5: Survive and Advance
Teams picked: BAL, NOR, LAR, LAC, CIN
Teams against: BUF, CLE, LAC, SF, MIA
this week I got my eyes on 2 games.
1. HOU > BUF
2. MIN > AZ

Week 7: Survive and Advance
Well gentleman, I was torn between MIN and HOU last week, I ended up going with HOU just because I felt MIN would be a smarter pick to save. Houston played one of the ugliest games I have ever seen and I was convinced that I would be getting eliminated last week...thank god for special deals and defense otherwise that would have been an L. Regardless, We live to fight another week. 300 Survivors are left in the pool down from 5k+. Listed below are the leans for this week, matchups are TOUGH this week.
Teams picked: BAL, NOR, LAR, LAC, CIN, HOU
Teams against: BUF, CLE, LAC, SF, MIA, BUF
*Note - I can no longer pick against Buffalo and I avoid PrimeTime games.
Week 6 Prospects:
1. MIN > NYJ
2. PHI > CAR
If I absolutely have to pick a PrimeTime game, these are the two I am looking at
3. KC > CIN
4. ALT > NYG
As always, thank you for the continued input..very much appreciated.

Dickey - thanks for the insight. Jags seem too unstable for me to pick this week..they looked TERRIBLE last week but so did the Texans. This will be a gross game but I could see Jags coming out on top. I’m locked on the Vikings for the time being, will continue to do research until Saturday night...if I can get through this week I have some good picks for the next couple weeks. BOL to us both

Week 8: Survive and Advance
Went with the Vikings last week and they came through big time against the Jets. Comfortable lead throughout the game and a couple turnovers by the Jets sealed the game. This week proves to be a little more challenging that I originally expected. 265 survivors advance to the next round.
Teams picked: BAL, NOR, LAR, LAC, CIN, HOU, MIN
Teams against: BUF, CLE, LAC, SF, MIA, BUF, NYJ
*Note - I can no longer pick against Buffalo and I avoid PrimeTime games.
Week 8 Prospects:
1. CHI > NYJ - Bears have been fantastic on offense recently despite two close loses. I feel like these teams are headed in opposite directions right now and I feel more confident with the Bears at home.
2. PIT > CLE - This was originally my number 1 pick but have since backed off. Cleveland ALWAYS plays pitt close and I dont want to leave my fate in the hands on Big Ben this week.
3. IND > OAK - Raiders are completely lost right now on both sides of the ball...they just lost Marshawn what appears to be 8 weeks. Meanwhile, INDY continues to put up points each week. Biggest downfall here is their defense but that should be strong against this OAK offense.
As always, any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks Guys

Week 9: Survive and Advance
Don't think anyone is still following along but either way I gotta keep my thread going. Bears get the job done in week 8, not much to talk about here. Somehow only 1 person was eliminated last week leaving us with 264 survivors advancing to the next round.

Week 9 Pick:
1. KC > CLE - I don't have much to say about this match up other than it has been circled on my playbook for the last few weeks. I just hope there isn't a Browns rally around the new coaching staff. Stay down Browns, at least for 1 more week.
BOL to all still alive.

I will probably do the same. Going to take a long look at Dallas at home Monday night to Tennessee. I think the Titans will struggle against the Cowboys D. Just hate taking road teams in the survivor pools. Having said that Peterman is god awful with no Oline in front of him.
