I didnt care much about this game to be honest and didnt bet alot. Only got curious because the Eagles were up and got home in time to watch the 2nd half. I missed the halftime show but i heard it was really boring. Not too many incredible catches i can remember. All the highlights were in the 1st half.. the Alshon Jeffery catch was a good catch but nothing really eyepopping. I guess too much scoring doesnt always equate to must see TV. No defensive stands until the final 6 minutes of the game.. the best and memorable moment in the game was the sack strip fumble. Other than that i thought it was a boring Super Bowl. if future Super Bowls play like out like an arena football game i can only expect viewership to dip down below 100m as long as Patriots keep playing in these Super Bowls it'll go down some more
Call me happy that Brady lost but disappointed about the quality of the Super Bowl play. Your thoughts?

the media can gtfo with that BS. This was one of the greatest SB in last 10 years. Backup Nick Foles dismantles the Patriot dynasty on national television. He played an immaculate game and a fairytale david v. goliath win.

You’re judging the quality of a super bowl based on degree of difficulty of the receptions in the game? This was an epic chess match between Pederson and Belichick and the knights were Brady and foles, who both were amazing. If you weren’t on the edge of your seat as the drama unfolded in this game, then might as well quit watching football. You can just watch Espn top ten if that’s your criteria for quality.

A number of factors, not just the catches. Wanted to see some gritty de fensive stands, some back and forth leads. We didnt get all that until the end of the game, defenses didnt show up for 3.5 quarters.
yes i was mostly not at the edge of my seat until 3 min left to go.. just something about this Super Bowl feels subdued and lacked energy. Epic chessmatch? I loved Pederson's aggressive playcalling and he did what he needed to do to win but Belichick checkmated himself, and was lackadaisical all game like he didnt want to be there. Didnt seem too epic to me. I think Pete Carroll vs Belichick was a more epic game of chess from beginning to end and i was on the losing end of that game but i still enjoyed the unpredictability of how that game unfolded.
Well Im glad you enjoyed this Super Bowl from start to finish. i did briefly enjoyed seeing the Eagles defense dismantle Brady at the end won some money on the Eagles but Ive seen better Super Bowls, and no i wont quit watching football just expressing my opinion.

Yea, that was an okay Super Bowl. That power outage was bullsh*t. Made that game more artificially dramatic than it needed to be. Final Score would have been 49-20 as far as im concern.
That Broncos/Panthers game was kind of boring but i absolutely enjoyed Cam getting demolished in that one and eating humblepie. I agree We've seen some of the best Super Bowls in recent memory, 49 and 51 were great. Pats/Seahawks sticks out to me the most that game was pure raw hard-nose football, and im not surprise that one had the all-time most viewership.

the last 4 superbowls have been pretty sweet. no 45 min delays on power outages. just great games
Scripted games you mean... The past 4 SB's have been very boring as well but then again, it is becuz sports have become boring once you realize they are scripted... At least the WWE was still entertaining despite it being scripted, the PG13 era killed the WWE tho..
