doubting it, they will come out with numbers tomorrow, looked like a lot of late money on SF, total opened 52 and was bet down to 47.5 or 48 so they didn't take a bath there...with all the props, parlays and all that crap who knows..

A bath? As if they LOST? You are clueless as f*ck if you think Vegas EVER loses money. Juice is made to make money EVERY TIME,...unless the MONETARY VALUE is UNEVEN so that they don't have enought to pay the winning bets with the losing bets.

Totals opened at 48, went down to 47 1/2 for a brief time after a couple huge bets on the under and climbed after that. The over took a bath and there was more money on Raven ML then imagined so it will be interesting to see how the props lined up.

Vegas would never take a bath on single game as big as the SB. They are way too smart to have more money on one side or the other. Not counting juice, they would have bettors' money on either side..

I'm sure Vegas lost money on this one. With the safety, they are going to have to pay the safety prop and also all those Niners teases. Balti ML was super popular. Anytime the game goes over, it's not good for them. Especially since I'm sure most of the 2nd half bets were on the Niners and over.

Over hurt them, but I think the love on the game was for the Niners. My local got a ton of action just from people saying Ray Lewis should be in jail.....

Every book in Vegas got hurt on the Over and Ravens ML. Lots of late money on the 49ers helped.
Is this off of the internet? Just curious where you got the numbers. Not being a person at all, just that I could find virtually next to no one on the over all week anywhere I asked or looked including online in this forum or on other sites or with two very large local books here where money poured in on the under. Everyone including touts were on the under that I saw. And that line dropped all week if I'm correct so the money had to be on the under????
I'm skeptical of any numbers splashed out for the public to view and would never trust them. The total went down a point or point and a half depending where you went, which means money pushed it down which is the only sensible conclusion, so the money was on the under. The line was set high for two teams known more for defense which I saw as a bait to play the under on a very high number, so I went the other way and played the Over while the total moved down.
The lion and the tiger may be more powerful, but the wolf doesn't perform in the circus.

I'm just going to give you a lesson here...."ticket counts" have NOTHING to do with the AMOUNT OF MONEY ON EACH SIDE.
The amount of money on each side is nealy EQUAL, but within the "juice window" so they make money EVERYTIME from the JUICE.
If 60% were on Niners and 74% on the Over, all that is saying is the PERCENTAGE OF TICKETS THAT CAME IN ONE EACH SIDE.
If 60% of the "tickets" were on the Niners, that means that the 40% on the Ravens were BIGGER. If 74% of the "tickets" were on the Over, that means that the 26% of the Unders were Less Bets, but Bigger Amounts.
Vegas and the books make juice on the JUICE on even amounts of money on each side so they can pay off the winners with the losers and juice they made EVERYTIME, NOT THE AMOUNT OF TICKETS.
