If Politics and Money have anything to do with this Superbowl, which they do, it will be GB's turn to wear the ring.
I have no idea what you are talking about. I have watched 1000+ NFL games in my life, and there is only one game in which I was convinced there was tampering. It was the gift superbowl win for the Steelers over the Seahawks - and I'm a fan of the Bears with no dog in that fight. The inequity was unquestionable in that game. For the most part, I think NFL refs do a great job, but not that day.
Now NBA... THAT is a different story...
Power and money and politics playing a part in who wins the superbowl? I think you are dillusional

The officiating in Super Bowl XL was met with harsh criticism from fans and the media soon after the game, with some columnists saying that
the officiating cost the Seahawks the game. Among the controversial
calls were a questionable offensive pass interference on wide receiver Darrell Jackson for a push-off(that is a penalty) against Steelers safety Chris Hope that nullified his 16-yard touchdown reception in the first quarter,[11] Pittsburgh quarterback Ben Roethlisberger's
1-yard touchdown run in the second quarter in which the replay did not
provide clear evidence to overturn the call on the field,[12][13] a penalty in the fourth quarter against Seattle right tackle Sean Locklear for briefly holding (holding is holding enough said) Steelers linebacker Clark Haggans around the neck that nullified a deep pass,[14][15] and a 15-yard personal foul on Seahawks quarterback Matt Hasselbeck during a Steelers interception return during the final period.[16]
What about Seattle's inability to stop Willie Parker on the longest run in SB history, or stopping a TD pass from a Wide receiver or the fact your TE with the big mouth's ability to actually catch a pass. These penalty's, nor the plays I mentioned, decided the outcome of the game. It was an ugly SB, one of the worst played ever, but it is what it is and its over with, let's move on shall we!

My TE? Again, I was on Pittsburgh -4 and felt very fortunate to be on the right side of the worst officiated Superbowl in history. I thought the Steelers were the better team going in, but the refs made it a one sided bullshit outcome. I see you are from Pennsylvania, so you can't hear me anyway.
BTW, I hope Charlie Batch is taking some reps in practice 'cause Clay Mathews and BJ Raji smell a rapist in the backfield and will put a hurting on that perverted scumfuck.

Don't mean your team, just responding to your post that's it, no need for the "rapist" and "scumfuck" terminology.
I heard this for the first time last night from a young lady watching the game, and I want to preface this by saying IT STILL DOES NOT MAKE IT RIGHT , the girl in question was wearing a t-shirt with the letters "dtf"on the front, I did not know this, but "dtf" stands for "down to fuck", that is what I was told.
Also heard they were going at it and she pissed on him and that is why he shoved, when he did she hit her head!
Although I do think he is scum, he is one hell of a QB and when Clay trys to sack him, Ben may very well through him aside just like he did to Suggs from Balt a few weeks back.

If you were face to face with me, all you would possibly be able to muster out of your pie hole is "I'm sorry sir".
Steelers were handed a gift 5 years ago. If you cannot handle the truth, maybe you should not go around posting garbage inviting people to correct you.
No i would only assault you...then run my mouth a little afterward ..

Wow. Pretty weak. I expected better from an "all-star". Unlike you, at least cburk showed some class.

I am not here to hate on anyone, what right do I have to hate on someone else, none! But, a win is a win and a loss is a loss, never like it when people make up excuses as to why one loses or wins. It is like when you make a bet and lose but say you were on the right side if it wasn't for this and that, that's bs, you lost the bet you were on the wrong side. Seattle lost the game, period, they needed to do more to win, they didn't, Pittsburgh did, end of story.
Henry, never meant to hate, just hate excuses, that applies to me also.

Refs handed that trophy to the Steeler nation 5 years ago. Even some of my friends that are lifelong Steelers fans knew it then, and were embarrassed. Time does not change the facts. Black eye for the NFL, and the refs.
A Kentucky fan bitching about an unfair call. That's balls. You cheating pricks should be the last to call out rights and wrongs. Seriously?

Oh i am sorry if the NFL forum brings out the worst in me, it's such a respectable and accurate little world here, how could i get so annoyed ....lol. Usually i am fun loving and positive, unless someone tries to take away one my championships...then the gloves come off..

So, you count that one against Seattle with the phantom calls? I thought the refs got that trophy?
Ha! This again.
D-Jack was an average receiver at best, and an alcoholic. He NEEDED to push off to get open. Otherwise, he would have never caught the TD pass that got called back.

Keep making excuses...it make's you look like a sheep who cant think for himself and believes everything he reads.....oh the media....how i trust you.... did the ref's let Willie Parker run a RECORD SETTING TD RUN ??? OR RANDLE EL A TD PASS ??? OH poor Hasselbeck ....and the hawks PATHETIC DEFENSE THAT HAD TO HOLD ALL DAY TO HAVE A CHANCE.....
Dude you can't win with these people. They are a bunch of sheep. That's all they are. And they're jealous.

Anytime the Steelers win it is because of th refs..Forget all of the calls that go against PIttsburgh, ie. all of the defensive pass int. and personal fouls on Harrison and their secondary. Maybe teams can keep braking Ben's nose and abusing him well after the play is over..I think the refs were quoted as saying "they are just trying to tackle you Ben." Maybe Hines Ward can have 4 Baltimore guys assult him on the ground and HE gets the penalty...It goes both ways. The Steelers/Hawks game was officiated poorly, for BOTH teams. The Steelers don't benefit anymore than the next team, and if you believe they do, you are in too many forums listening to people losing their bets whining like little school girls.

You're wrong about that game and so are your friends. I've watched the game and these so called "contraversial" calls over and over and over again. And there was nothing wrong with the calls that were made.

Seattle sucked anyways. I still can't believe they made it there. If the Steelers hadn't played their worst game in the past two months that night, they would have beaten them 45-3.
