Instead, I see a low scoring affair here as both prefer ground manuevers to aerial ones. Defenses are solid and field position will be critical. Neither team has big play potential and this should be tight and low scoring.
Under is the play.
a red hot start to the season the Gophers started playing some real competition
and they cooled off… After dropping two in
a row to upper echelon BIG 10 competition they then rattled off four in a row
against mediocre conference competition…
They then finished up with two losses in games they had a chance to win
IMHO, but the absence of their top receiver (Derrick Engel) in those two games really showed as he
is/was the Gophers only real vertical threat (ability to stretch the field).
Minnesota should win here as Syracuse has NO kicker
and there offense is nothing to write home about. However, both of these squads are solid
defensively and I think this is going to be a slugfest where points will be at
a premium so……………………… put me down for
Syracuse plus the chalk AND Under the Total for a Nickel a piece please. Thanks!
