Anybody remember 2010 when USCe beat the hell out of AL? Played almost perfect game similar how they played last week against GA. Guess what USCe did the following week after beating AL in 2010. They lost to Kentucky! LSU is the play this week boys.

Based on what??? I am admittingly a USC fan as you can see, but yet im pretty objective and will even bet against USC when I see fit. But i mean have you seen LSU play? And have you seen USC play? I agree 100% that it is a REAL tough game and Death Valley at night is pretty daunting, but what reason other than coming off a big when would ever make you think LSU will "romp" this week, especially against the USC defense. Right now LSU cant score enough to even blow out Townson.
And as far as 2010, I assume you dont watch much SC football, but this team is night and day different than that team. They hadnt been there before and had a letdown going to play a bad UK team after beating #1. I dont think I would qualify playing LSU at night in Death Valley as a good scenario for a letdown. Yeah USC may lose to LSU, but no way they get blown out, and apparently Vegas doesnt think so either. Just my opinion....

Yes a good spot for LSU normally, but with their offense struggling, the Cock defense will be pinning their ears back... Miles better put some plays in that enables Mettenberger to get rid of the ball quickly, and maybe give him some confidence...

Don't you have to score to be able to win? I jumped on SC +2.5 and will look at the Under, and also the LSU TT Under. I think it will take one of those crazy Sat. nights in Baton Rouge for LSU to win this one....(which is possible)

I perfectly understand the theory of having a letdown (see UK 2010). But please tell me how playing on the road at night against in a top 10 matchup one of the best teams in the country is a letdown spot??? Just dont see it.
I actually think playing LSU this week is one of the best things that could happen for SC, as far as avoiding a letdown at least.

Night game in Baton Rouge with LSU off a loss. SC has not been impressive on the road this year. SC at home is almost impossible to beat over the past 3+ years. SC is a different team at home behind that crowd. They know how to make that stadium rock. I remember 2010 when I was there. The play is LSU or no play. If you can't bet LSU in this spot then IMO you should lay off. No way you can back SC when or lose! I see lots of value in LSU and none in SC. May win may lose but would rather have the home team here.

I play the what if game. What if LSU squeaks out a close one vs FL last week on the road? Which may of happened if the receiver holds the ball and doesn't fumble on that long pass play. They go up 9-7 and have a good chance to hold on. The line IMO would be LSU -6 if LSU would of beat FL.

Agree with everything you said. SC is for sure a better team at home. Vandy was certainly nothing impressive, but this team has come a long way since then, and except for the 1st half against UK has gotten better every week. They came out flat in that game but woke up and outscored UK 31-0 in the second half.
Most people probably also dont realize that SC is 9-1 in their last 10 road games. Everyone said the exact same thing when they went to Florida in 2010 to play for the East. Florida at home, at night, everything to prove, terrible spot for SC. SC dominated 36-14.
I agree this is a great spot for LSU historically, and i also agree SC is not necessarily a smart play. Hell i wouldnt put big money on SC this week. They may lose for sure. I think it will be a close, low scoring game, with a big turnover or special teams play being the difference. My only point is that i have seen nothing from LSU that would suggest they can score enough to blow out anyone, especially a team with a legit top 5 defense. To win on the road in the SEC you need a strong D, good running game, and a smart QB who doesnt make mistakes. SC certainly fits that bill
Personally i think this game is a no play any way you look at it, too many unknown variables with 2 good teams. Good luck either way, i will say 17-13 SC.

South Carolina's game next week against Florida is far more important than the game this week with LSU.
yea looking into this one hard.. South Carolina needs to beat flordia to win the east .. there is noway they dont come out flat in this game.. if les miles is to lose this game man he has to be gone..
