dumbasses. how can you say the mavs played their best game when they were up 7 & lost.
we will see those opportunities.2nd game thunder DD win

I don't think they can come back from this. They just played their best game and lost.
I think Nowitzki forgot that Tyson Chandler is gone. He was simply too afraid to pick up fouls. Of course he is valuable, but you have to foul some times when guys have open lanes to the bucket. OR try to take a charge. Just do something. He just sat there and watched too much.
And then when he finally does foul he allows and AND 1 to Ibaka. What a surprise they lose by 1 pt.
Those Mavs just don't have it this year. I think OKC will sweep them and may bet it every step of the way.
Interesting since everyone said the exact same thing last year when Mavs blew a huge lead VS Portland in the 1st round, and many call for Portland to win the next 2 games and wrap-up the series, did not work out that way, Mavs won next 2 to win the series.
How how quick we forget !!!
In fact, there were 3 devastating losses last season and each time the team losing covered the spread the following game, just a little history lesson for you.
However, I do agree Thunder roll next game, but not because of the devastating loss to Mavs, but because they are flat-out the better team playing at home coming off a great performance by Mavs who could not win with their best game, not likely to play that well again.

Valuable lesson to be learnt guys. Both Dallas and Grizz suffered devastating losses and both covered the spread in the next game.
That's 5-0 ATS in the following game after a devastating loss the last 5 times it has happened dating back to last season. Including game 3 of the NBA finals when the covers staff had even written the Mavs would cover game 3 because of the Heat's devastating loss in game 2 when they lost a 15 pt lead in the 4th quarter. Sorry guys but I'd expect better from authoriy figures.
There is simply no-truth that NBA teams get emtionally down after a devastating loss. A complete myth perpatrated mostly by media types who failed to do their homework.
To reach the level of NBA player a guy must have a very strong belief in himself, these are ego driven people who think their the greatest thing since sliced bread and are not easily broken.
A devastating loss will only motivate that player on more, not less, to prove it was a fluke, that's what ego driven players do.
