You know, I cant make up my mind on the Vikings, but I laid the 5.5 against the Titans and I feel pretty comfortable with less than a TD. With my luck CJ will have the game of his life, cant see "Hasselhoff" making a difference tho. Any thoughts on this one?

they will beat up on the titans, don't fall for the few write ups here that make it look appealing. Some of these guys are paper champions with their write-ups.

Yeah, I get what you're sayin Tank, hard to respect most of these "armchair" QB's with no real analysis to back em up. I really like the Minnesota defense here and if Ponder doesn't give the farm away this should be an easy cover. Thanks for the thread.

Vikings are a talented team. Other than QB and Offensive Line, they are easily in the top 12 in the NFL in talent. Deciding on Ponder and just how good he is, is crucial. Their OL is average at best, and that will eventually be their undoing. Well, that and their rather average head coach lol.
If you're wondering whether they can handle a favorite's role....nobody knows. They have a decent defense. If you have a formula that determines they won't turn the ball over this week, the you just have to figure out that factor.

Minny Rush D ranked #7 only giving up 85yds/game. Ponder is also the only starting QB without an int showing Ponder is playing it safe. They could easily be 4-0 if not for the 3pt loss to Indy of all teams.
I'm all over Minny -5.5 this week as they should be able to control Johnson and hasslelhoff.

Minnesota has a good overall defense but their secondary is were they can get burned. If they stay tough in the secondary they have a good D.
Offense on the other hand has not shown much at all. Ponder is alright and he is good at managing the game but he hasnt really been able to air it out, and he definately has some talent at WR where he should be able to a little bit. AP is a great RB but has not really gotten much in rushing. A lot of small little gains but nothing huge.
Overall they have the talent to be good if they could figure out how to string it all together, but honestly to me they have not been able to do that yet.

I got burnt bad last week but the only bright spot for me was Minnesota and the under. Rode the same bet against sf too...I think they can make it 3 in a row. This team kinda reminds me of the 49ers before their standout season last year. Smashmouth in the trenches small efficient plays, nothing fancy. Lots of running and short passes. I like it

I agree Predator, they have quietly impressed on defense and if Ponder can imitate Alex Smith and manage the game, they will win a lot more than they lose going forward. Great analysis Bro.

Yeah man i agree with you. 3 straight wins and covers, plus all 3 unders. If only i had some discipline and played only these games haha. They've been solid...taking early leads and playing good D and just building on to the lead slowly but surely. Very curious to see what the line and for next week vs washington and public perception is going to be on this sleeper team
