I know everyone thinks some of these lines are too good to be true, but I think there is great value on these plays.
WVU - 4 at Texas Tech. Tech got exposed for what they are last week against OU. They are a middle of the pack team who hadn't played anyone this year. Their offense isn't what it once was and didn't hit 20 until the last minute of the game. They had tons of problems against OU and I expect them to be better against a suspect WVU defense. But WVU plays just good enough defenses to not let the game get away. The WVU offense is the best in the country hands down. Geno is incredible and he will destroy Tech's defense. Tech had the #1 def going into last week, but it was against subpar teams. They haven't seen anything like WVU and the way they are playing they will have no problem putting up 50. WVU gave away 2 fumbles inside their 10 yard line at Texas and still won the game. Take away the Texas td with 10 seconds left and it would have looked worse. I really don't understand this line and Tech is getting way to much credit. What has Tech shown to say they will stay in this game? They beat Iowa St, but I think they are overrated as well. WVU will win this game by 10 points minimum and I think could easily win by 20. MAX Play - WVU -4 $5,000
Kansas St - 6.5 at Iowa St. I think K St might be the most impressive team in the country. They just pound the ball at you nonstop and then Klein will hit one on your when you crowd the box. I understand that these games have been close in the past, but I think this is a different K State team and Iowa St is getting a lot of credit for the win at TCU. In fact I was at the TCU game and I didn't come away impressed with them at all. TCU rolled up over 450 yards of offense and turned it over 5 times and still had a chance to win the game. The score is a little misleading as the backup TCU qb threw a tipped pass INT for a td in the 4Q. Also without a few questionable personal foul penalties, TCU would have won. TCU was down to their 2nd string qb who had 2 days to prepare and their 5th and 6th string rb's. One of which fumbled on the 3 yard line. Basically Iowa St had 2 big pass plays and benefits from TCU playing so poorly. K St won't make the same mistakes and Iowa St has proven they can get beat at home as they lost by 2 td's to a mid-conference team in Texas Tech. K St is just on a different level and Iowa St is a little overate after last week. I see another 2 td win by K St.
Ok St - 23 at Kansas. This is purely a play against Kansas and Weiss even started saying he was preparing for next year this week. He didn't have one senior practice on purpose so he can get his team younger. Ok St is chopping at the bit to get back out there after their bye week and losing in controversy against Texas. Kansas hasn't stopped anyone so far and I don't expect it to start this week. Ok St 52-10.
Good Luck to everyone, but I think this is a nice 3-0 sweep!
