Up 9 at the start of the 4th quarter and looking to put away the beasts in Game 1, the Thunder literally shit the bed. At the 11:18 mark Harden hit a jumper and we were looking at a 73-64 score. 4 minutes and 7 seconds later, after a 9-0 Spurs run we were tied at 73! During that 4 minute and 7 second span the Tunder committed 6 personal fouls, 3 turnovers, and put 0 points on the board. Adding to the mess was that Kevin Durant was absent not only during that 4 minute span, but essentially the entire 4th quarter as he was able to put up only 6 points, all from the free throw line, to go along with a turnover and 4 personal fouls! The Thunder, thanks to a barrage of three balls, and an especially worthless three by Harden as time expired, were still able to make theior backers happy as the pulled the cover out of thier ass in a 101-98 defeat.
A couple of things that really make me say hmmmmm from Game 1. Let's start with Ginobili. The man looks like he is 50 years old (notice his balding crown) yet played like he was 20 again as he went 9-14 and dropped 26 on the Thunder. Two, when was the last time Neal went 5-9 and contributed the way he did Sunday? Finally, why the hell did Perkins allow himself to basically be taken out of the game with his foul troubles?
I don't see that combination of things happenning tonight. I am convinced that the Spurs will take one on the road and that being the case I am convinced that the Thunder get one here tonight. While I appreciate the fact that the Spurs have been unbeatable, I also appreciate the fact that the Thunder are a damn good team that had a game in complete control before a 4 minute and 7 seconds meltdown. That meltdown of course can be contributed to the Spurs, but I beleive that the Thunder take some responsibility in that as well.

followmylead - I think the quick 11 they put up at the end of the game carries over to tonight. And, again, I see no way Ginobili can duplicate that performance and no way Thunder duplicate that 4th quarter meltdown. BOL to you sir,.

How many times do you think the Thunder heard Pops now famous "give me some nasty" quote? I bet they are frothing at the mouth to get back on the court. The more I think about that the more confident I am with this play.

yeah but when did danny green miss so many wide open 3 pointers?
Not often. But he did play 21 games this season without hitting any 3's and shot 0% in 18 of them. He's good, but certainly not anything special. He could go 4-6 or 1-5 tonight. We will see.
