I take this game very seriously and it means alot to me. When Hunter Renfrow caught that final pass for a TD to clinch it...I held both of my boys and as tears rolled down my face.....I told em you'll never forget this moment... You will never forget where you were...you will never forget who you were with....you will never forget any of these moments for the rest of your life.
In 2010 the closet person to me passed away, my Dad. I would have given anything.....I can't express that word enough ( anything ) to have spent that moment with him. People say it's just a game, Boom.... No it's more than that.... Sports brings us together....there is no white and black.... there is religious differences. It's something more...We forget about the daily grind and hard aches and stress we all live with in our daily lives. Sports, and in this case, college football brings people together. Last night and today here in South Carolina people who don't even know each other find common ground... I spent almost 20 minutes talking to complete strangers at the gas station as I was pumping gas this am.... All of us couldn't have been more different than one another.....But it was sports that brought us together....It was something that we equally found common ground about and didn't let the walls of our ordinary lives come between it. I'm not ashamed to say last night moved me emotionally.... I glad it did. I won't go through life emotionless.... it's important.
Look men... Alabama is a GIANT.... I have nothing but good things to say about this program. I humbly respect what they have accomplished...But last night Watson wouldn't be denied.... Dabo is building a giant... I hope in years to come we can clash many more times to fight for titles...
