I like Akron to make some noise when they play a weak mac confrence.
Terry Bowden has assembled a very decent coaching staff with Chuck Amatto and others.
I think the one game they get slaughtered is September 22 is when they play the other team Im high on and thats Tennessee
Tennessee is in a must win, win big and not just make A bowl game but big bowl game or BCS bowl game.
The offensive talent is there, so now its all on dooley.

Really like Vanderbilt. Especially at home. Coaching and QB play is a strength of this team. 15 returning starters 9-4 ATS. (maybe I missed out a year ago)
Don't sleep on Purdue this year. 15 returning starters. ? can they replace kicker
Boston College should be much improved as injuries hurt LY. 17 returning starters.
Will be watching Fresno St with new coaching. A very talented team returns that underachieved last year. Derek Carr seemed immature at times. If the D can improve the offense should be able to keep up. Atleast for the cover.
Bowling Green returns 17 starters including QB Schilz who had 28 TD's LY. Again the D needs to improve only slighly

I know Steele et al are hyping UCF, and they will be better this year, but they did lose @ UAB 26-24...that is inexcusable...I want to get on the UCF train, prima facie, they have Top 25 talent, but that UAB game and losing record last year concerns me...

6-7 SU isn't exactly a scary team. I would expect they get zero respect. Thats why I'm backing them.

honestly, I am not against UCF. I made take them in week 1. I just would like to do more research on how a team could lose to a team as bad as UAB in one year and be a top 25 team and CUSA favorite at the start of the next. There is no doubt UCF will be imroved and they have a good D and may get T Gabber, but I don't know if I can give Akron 20+ points at Akron in week 1. IS UCF LEGIT OR ARE THEY OVERHYPED?

100% agree, along with LSU.....both teams made me plenty of $$$ last year....especially the final weeks of the season.
