I don't think the media will stop. He just roused a large chunk of Asia into watching basketball/NBA. Too many money to pass up on if they gave it a rest this early.
I heard Nike just signed him up too. I won't be surprised if he starts getting calls his way. I just hope ESPN and all other media focuses more on him being a Harvard grad and all than his race.
Well said. ESPN and Tiger is getting old...If Tiger was was white...The coverage wouldn't be so "there" every 2 minutes. I like the Lin story... Glad to see a kid getting his opportunity.. He seems like a "class act"..The NBA needs it.

did anyone know that harvard and yale are rejecting asians because of the stereotypes of asians these days...
racismmmmmmmmmm
Who gives a fuck? You will never know what real racism is. Can't get into a Ivy League school, well booo fuckin hooo. If not for Earl Lloyd, Jeremy Lin wouldn't even have a chance to play in the NBA. Better know your freakin history, before you call racism.

try to do the research about the first 5 game start of any player..
and lin is the BEST IN NBA HISTORY! now you can say shit about who he played against, it's not like everybody in NBA HISTORY played against power teams in their 1st 5 games as starters.
He isn't a superstar, but he has potential.. and fuck ESPN! they're not in anyway credible in any opinion they put out.
I haven't watch that much espn but the lin story is one of the best in pro basketball right now, and you can't blame the media for riding it. and some may have been over riding it.. not lin's fault like smartbet said.
you talk about a player that sleep in his teammates couch, and now setting an NBA record for his play is an achievement considering how great players are in the nba.
under him is ISAIAH and MAGIC.
i think he's a solid starting pg really, and only time will tell if he can be an allstar.. i think that's the right amount of praise he gets.
that tebow connection is stupid! the only thing they have in common is that they're both religious, which is sad to say.. like is that really the only outspoken God believer in the US?
undrafted players that really prove the critiques wrong are special, you may not know but ben wallace wasn't drafted. check out his defensive player of the year awards
stop watching espn, that shit has nothing to do with what lin is doing, and it's special

Funny how there is racism when you talk about African Americans but it's not racism when talking about an Asian American... you are the worse type of racist...

This is more a vent towards ESPN and the media and I'm sorry but I'm already sick of the guy. Now people are talking about him for MVP? Get real, are they even in the playoffs if the season ended today?
Its like the tebow thing, its a nice story but stop ramming it down our throats 24/7, its ridiculous. I literally cannot go 15 min on ESPN or talk radio without hearing someones opinion on the guy. Some are even already talking hall of fame!!! Huh???? The guy has had a nice stretch here but lets see a body of work before we all start blowing the guy every day. A week or two of good basketball on a dogshit team doesn't qualify as "must talk about 24/7."
Again this more towards ESPN and the media, I'm sure Lin is a fine lad, but lets talk about something else already. If I have to see a clip of that three vs Toronto one more time I'm gonna scream lol. I swear that clip is on TV 2500 times/day
i agree. i know how you feel. i just want them to shut the fuk up already.
my ethnic background is asian and i know for fact that Lin is getting this much media hype is because he's yellow like me. he's a great guy, good ball player and humble. repect that.
but shut the fuk up already. asians can ball too and now you know you dumb ignorant sports casters lol
