We'll see. I thought the same thing a while ago, and the boom, 2010 happened and he rattled off 5 wins in a season. He very nearly had Pocono won last year, but he couldn't hold off a much faster Logano for the last couple laps. I can certainly understand not wanting to put anything on him though because it does seem as if he's backing down more than he had in the past.
A matchup I'm curious about: Blaney -105 vs. Ragan -125. Blaney has outrun Ragan at just about every track they've gone to this year (and is 6-2 in this matchup), but Ragan does have a pair of 4th place finishes at this track from when he was in the #6 Roush car. Last year he finished 32nd in both races. Blaney finished 33 and 29 last year, but that car wasn't running nearly as well as it is now.
Thoughts? I think this might be a good play, but I'm curious what others think.
