Those of you who know me around here know that a play like this is a rarity for me. Generally, I'd be on the small home dog in this spot, especially against an upstart 4-0 team that one could easily argue should be 2-2. Typically I'd be calling those on AZ "punters" tonight (credit to Charlie_M for the term). That said, the week to be bold and take the Rams was last week. They had their big division win last week, and lets be honest, it was a great win. It is, however, not easy to win two division games in a row against (what I feel to be) two superior opponents. I think that Az knows exactly what the public knows, which is that they can't keep this hot start up forever. That said, winning a division game tonight and going to 5-0 raises their chances of winning the division purely from a statistical standpoint) considerably. Look for them to going into this game with the mentality that "we've got some tough games later in the season, we need to heap on the wins where we can get them so lets go out and stomp out a division opponent". They will be up for this game IMO. Additionally, lets face it, the Rams just aren't that good and the AZ defense is for real. Part of this whole thing we do is being able to switch up your thinking and see another prospective and that is what I'll be doing tonight.
