They both only complete 45-50 percent of their passes and Tebow has more skills. Seems like a no brainer IMHO. Put the guy with the best shot to score points in the game.
I had the Texans as my final team on my teaser, just like almost the rest of the gambling world, and I was actually more nervous with Tebow on the field than I was with Sanchez.
Tebow’s ability to improvise and make plays made me a little uneasy when I saw him in the game. When I see Sanchez on the field, I feel like the offense goes flat, and isn’t going to do a damn thing with the ball.
When Sanchez is on the field the Jets can’t control time of possession, run, throw any passes, or throw the ball deep to stretch the field, and is 6-8 since the bye last season.
I can’t think of any positives to say about Sanchez right now, other than he once went to back to back AFC championship games somehow. Something Sanchez will be telling his family, kids, and grand kids every damn day.
Just like Al Bundy, because we all know Al Bundy is a shoe salesman, but he once scored 4 touchdowns in a single game.
When Tebow’s on the field the Jets can control time of possession, run option, spread, run the ball, screens, dink & dunk, play action, stretch the field, and was 8-5 as a QB last season.
Plus, if the defense keeps it close, Tebow has a 4th quarter/OT rating of 101.2, 6 fourth quarter comebacks, and 7 game-winning drives.
Both are not the future guys, but the question is, who gives the Jets the best shot to score points right now, win games right now, and a bigger threat to cost us money betting against them?
If I were a Jets fan, I would want Tebow in the game for this season, and would hope for the Jets to draft a QB in the next NFL draft.
By the way, I wouldn’t want either as my starting QB. I think Skip is right on this one and Cowherd is wrong on this subject. So, what do you guys think, and who are you more afraid to bet against?
