Tulsa had a great win last week over conference foe SMU, and now they hit the road on a short week to take on another conference rival, UCF. After a big emotional win on Saturday and a short week to travel from Oklahoma to Florida, I think this is a tough situational spot for Tulsa. They take on a UCF team that has struggled on the road, but have been lights out at home (granted against Charleston Southern, BC, Marshall, and Memphis). When you look at this matchup and breakdown the two teams, it almost seems obvious that Tulsa would win and win big. They both played SMU, who beat down UCF and got a beat down from Tulsa. Tulsa has an outstanding quarterback in GJ Kinne, while UCF has lost to some mediocre teams on the road this year, including the lowly UAB Blazers. There is every reason that Tulsa should be favored and win big. However, you have the Knights favored, with the public backing Tulsa. I think this game boils down to the situation. Tulsa off a huge win, hitting the road on a short week, facing a UCF team that has a stingy defense and has played great at home, playing a huge conference game. UCF, despite a lackluster season, still has a chance to win the Conference USA, and it all starts with grabbing a win here tonight. I think they get the job done is a defensive slugfest. All area college students can attend this game free of charge, and the stadium will be rocking tonight. Knights get the job done.

I'm leaning that way. Its one of those lines I briefly discussed yesterday in a thread I started regarding the Ohio/Temple game. When it looks to good to be true, it normally is. Tulsa looks to be easily a touchdown+ better then UCF yet UCF is favored. In that case, give me UCF

Good luck with your play...It's looking like a no play for me. Tulsa has just played a lot tougher schedule. They've won the games that they were supposed to win. They looked great over the weekend. Just can't back CFla against a team that is doing things right. That being said you bring up some valid points with Tulsa traveling and all. CFla has been tough at home (although against weak opposition) and the crowd should be fired up for a primetime game. I may make a play on the total, but I just can't back a side in this game.

zooyork...thanks buddy...I totally hear what you're saying. Everything about the matchup as far as the teams are concerned spells Tulsa. The line doesn't reflect that at all, and I think that's for the situational reasons I mentioned. If you're going to play the total, I'd lean to the Under. Everyone sees Tulsa as a high-powered offense, and they are, but again tough situational spot facing a great defense. UCF will run a lot and try to shorten the game in my opinion. Best of luck with your play.

Guys you mean to tell me no one's going to come in here and tell me what an idiot I am and how Tulsa is gonna blow them out?
I am on Tulsa tonight but there's no way I would say you're an idiot and they are gonna blow out UCF. I think you have a very thought out position on the game, I just don't agree with the result. One of us is going to win and it's not because the other one is an idiot. Good luck though, I will keep an eye out for your picks!

poker...Interesting take on it. I think you need to put a little more into your capping though if that's how you think about a game. Tulsa eusally score thirty so they will score thirty. That's why Vegas is so rich. Not saying you're wrong that Tulsa cover, they very well could, but this type of logic is not a recipe for winning games.

some one already told u how much on of an idiot u are
speaking seriously ----- only a person out of his right mind will be willing to bet on a team that lost to the FCS school of UAB , and marshall , Tulsa is more consistent and besides SOS of tulsa is 34 and UCF is like 104 if i recall, mmmmm, much difference --- this wont be a sluggfest as UCF wont be able to contain Tulsa offense and its QB, UCF deffense is just plain shit, and Tulsa Deffense isnt stellar either, if the place is rocking i highly doubt UCF will come out with their heads up their asses and get boooed --- and after played in places like norman and the smurf turf, Tulsa will not be shaking in their pants

shark...why is the total 49.5 if this is going to be such a shootout? You realize UCF is averaging 2.2 points per game against at home right? I know, I know, the strength of schedule. But still, the UCF defense is "plain shit." Dude, you are smokin something really funny. Best of luck with whatever you play though, you're gonna need it.
