Quarterback is easily the toughest position to fill on an NFL roster. If I had a bad quarterback on my team, I'd give him a shot. I know it's the cool thing to say he's a terrible player, but if my franchise was depending on Blaine Gabbert, Terelle Pryor, Christian Ponder, or Kevin Kolb...I'd bring him in immediately...not to mention he's better than a$$ fumble Sanchez.
The guy plays harder than just about every quarterback, and he absolutely can help the running game, especially when the read option is the rage right now.
Absolutely he has looked awful throwing a lot, but he also has had some good moments throwing...if you had a good coaching staff who can improve his throwing, I'd bring him in. Worse thing in sports you can be is irrelevant...lots of franchises are. He could help ticket sales, and some awful offenses, but a team would have to bring him in and say "he's our starter, and we are going to give it 2 years". Fact is, the guy had a winning record 2 years ago, and won a playoff game. Everyone dismisses it, but it's a lot better than what some of the other guys in the league have done.
I'll also throw Vince Young in this category. Read option, athletic, will be playing with a chip on his shoulder, winning record as a starter with a coach that hated him...I'd look at him as well.

I wish that were true... but unfortunately its not.. the guy couldnt even beat out Sanchez in practice.... hell even the 2nd stringer whom I cant think of right now for that matter... Denvers defense and special teams is what made Teblow look good... guy had 1 decent pass all of that season which so happen to be in the playoffs... and everyone thinks hes a winner.. he didnt stop the other teams offense and go on the field and kick game winning fgs... never understood how this guy got all the credit for those wins 2 yrs ago when he didnt do a damn thing.. I dont know whats worse tho.. starting sanchez or picking up Teblow...not a fan of either tho... cant wait to see if Geno can turn the qb problem around

Broncos were 1-4 when he took over. Then they started winning. Jets had their chance to give him the offense, but I guess they were happy with how Sanchez was working that juggernaut, and didn't want to mess up a potent offense (sarcastic font). Jets are a complete mess.
I think most teams are scared to bring him in because if it doesn't work, they will get all the scrutiny from the media. I'm just amazed that people think he can't get better. If there's a good coaching staff in place, they should be able to work with him and improve him. He's got a track record of a winning record, and that's more than can be said for some of these other guys.

All in all I really only can say he won 2 games ... meaning they won cause of him... but all the games when he took over in denver where just boring to watch... they were games of which defense and special teams won... he got credit cause he was the qb ( most qbs get credit even when a game ends 9-6 with all fgs..)... cant see how he would have gotten better... dude couldnt hit water from a boat in middle of the ocean.... IMO of course... but like u say he has a winning record and that cant be denied... it is being overlooked tho pretty badly... dude seems to have alot of heart and the will to want to win... just needs a team to believe and give him a shot...

Hit the nail right on the head here.
The Jets blew Tebow's career. Tebow has been nothing but a winner his whole career (2 National Titles, Heisman trophy), took a 1-4 Broncos team to the playoffs & won more playoff games than Peyton Manning did last year. Yet, people only want to bash him. He's a class act & a role model. The Jets were so salty Tebow came back & beat them, they signed him just to bench him & humilate him. Well guess what, the New York Jets as an organization is friggin humiliating enough. The fact that they gave Mark Sanchez 55 million dollars & played him every game last year w/o giving Tebow a shot is absurd. The Jags suck & there's nothing to lose in bringing him in. I'm stunned they aren't interested. Nothing to lose, all to gain. Blaine Gabbert? Good luck winning 5 games w/ him at the helm. I'm hoping someone gives Tebow another shot. He feels like "why should I have to change positions? I won a Heisman, won w/ Denver, & won a playoff game. Who cares how pretty it is?
