I like Washingtonhere.....This should be a springboard game for Washington's program......Sarkesian will have the Huskies ready to roll in this one......Boise doesn't have the D that they have had this year and the QB situation is way short of where it has been over the last decade.....Boise isn't the atm machine it was in the past......I love the Huskies here!!!

While there is heavy action on Washington, the number should be more like 3 than 5.5 - All that chalk on Boise St. Still, WU has won 4 games as out right dawgs. A 5th on during a season? A very high probability that they won't win the game. Of course, if one is up, then M.line is plausible. Can they win the game? Yeah, Buster Douglas told us that anything can happen...Wash +5.5, Under 46

This is the 3rd straight LV bowl for BSU..........they covered the L2 convincingly tho LY's win was vs a fading ASU team with a lame duck HC (Erickson). They aren't the same team as in the past w/o Moore @ qb & they may be getting a bit bored after going 12-1 & 10-2 & ending up in the vegas bowl...........but I'm discounting that.........Peterson always seems to have his team ready.
The Huskies are actually happy to be in vegas after suffering that shocking upset in the Apple Cup, having blown an 18 pt. lead...............happy they aren't going to New Mexico. While their D has improved by about 100/ypg over LY's team (new DC Wilcox also coached under Peterson for 4 years), I'm convinced they miss Nussmeier @ OC more than they'll ever let on.............most seem to blame the demise of the offense on the loss of Chris Polk to the NFL. You could've used that excuse early on but Bishop Sankey has really emerged as a great rb in the 2nd hf of the season while the passing game is still languishing a bit.............& not for the lack of targets, IMO, but the play calling.
Still, I like Washington here but it won't be a big play...........Sark has had his squad prepped well in the L2 bowls, having beaten Nebraska outright as a huge dog in the Holiday & then if the D could've made just 1-2 stops LY they would've beaten Baylor or at least covered.............& the Huskies certainly have the talent to win outright here.
Washington +5.5...................leaning under but may just pass on a total play.

interesting me to see the three "expert" picks for Washington among Boise State gourments...
and a lot of thee picks for Boise State among the Washington experts --
Not sure what to make of that. Probably was a disappointing season for both, and now, here are there followers, used to making money on the pick-against side...
(as we've been doing on the Celtics for about a month in the NBA)

This looks like the first dog to win outright to me. Washington is a solid football team and Boise is maybe 6-6 playing WU schedule. Hard to pass up free points here when they should and can win outright.

Washington small, hard to see a whole lot of motivation for either squad in a very lackluster bowl game at a very lackluster stadium in vegas. Washingtons schedule has been extremely difficult and the last six games they played some very good ball, except for that meltdown vs. their rival. Boise has a very lackluster offense but a very stout defense. In that sort of game i have to take the points but nothing would surprise me in these mediocrity bowls.

Yep, Boise had a ton of wins over a bunch of crap teams. Washington on the other hand, go bowling after playing one of the toughest schedules in the country. That say's a lot here. Boise has to answer for last years beatdown they gave to the Sun Devils in the Las Vegas Bowl. Plus Huskies will be motivated to do well after losing in the Apple Bowl in their final game of the season, and losing su&ats vs Rg3's Baylor Bears last year at the Alamo.

Boise St-5.5 and heres why. Excellent defense holds Washington to under 20 points and will help out offense with field position enough so Boise covers.

Here we go. I have backed Boise for a long time. They are average this year and Southwick will not do enough to get Boise the win. Both are "motivated" and but I expect Washington to be ready!

Washington keeps Boise unblanced and takes this game.
