KingKappy will lose 2 days in a row and you will start looking for another source for plays... and then another one... and then you will spend Saturday watching 6 different games every few hours and tailing about 10 different chumps who don't have a clue.

Here's an idea applesandoranges, try betting $20 a game, do not double up or chase if you lose. If you lose another $1000 then i would recommend quitting. You might be surprised that with a little self control you might at least break evenor even win a little. If you really interested in action then there is no reason to chase, just look at your loses as the price of entertainment. Just remember that if it were easy to make a living doing this everyone would live in Las Vegas, and not have to work for a living. It took me 15 years to learn that i probably am not gonna win a lot of money, but by playing small and within a budget i get all the action I need without going into deep debt.

I haven't been i'm just lying about it lol. Seriously, if you get in over your betting $20 a game then i think it would be apparent to even a 17 year old that you should quit. At least by not doubling or tripling you bets to chase he has a chance.

Apples, you can make all the money in the world, and your life will be a playground!
You obviously don't want to listen to everyones advise.
If I went to an Rx / MD forum and asked about pills. And told everyone that I lied to my parents, and I was becoming addicted, and I had to go to meetings, and my shrink thought down on me, etc... I am sure everyone would tell me to ditch the shit. So, Apples, why are you trying to convince everyone to tell you its okay. Eat all the pills you want. Gamble on every backyard dice games you see at recess. Ultimately the only opinions that matter are your loved ones. And apparently you are reckless enough with this vice to make them concerned.
Let this go for a little bit. Tackle wagering later on in life when things are more stable. There's no shame in walkin away. If you're ignorant enough to think that all 2X,XXX members on this site are successful you're fooling yourself. At most, there are probably 2 dozen cappers here that are worth following. And what if they tilt. Then you're following someone thats chasing. And you're chasing without even knowing it. You dont know these people.....stop eating their candy, you'll wake up in a windowless van, wearing lipstick, handcuffed to a 60 year old puerto rican midget, stuck in the 'goatse' position.

If it isn't english what language is it? Who are you to tell anyone how to live their life, if gambling is so bad and life threatening why are you on a gambling forum talking about it. I'm not this kids dad, just trying to give my opinion on the situation, if you want to tell someone how to live their life, go be a counseler or a preacher.

This is what I'm talking about...
He came onto this site asking for advise. Its an open forum for giving it. I dont think gambling is life threatening or dangerous for myself. But then again, no one close to me is losing any sleep over my life. Im under impression your tone is a reflection of my Eng101 comment. That was meant in jest, and by no means did I think you would be on the bring of fist-a-cuffs. appologies

This entire thread is fake - and a desperate cry for attention. He did this twice already in regards to the money he owed a bookie and being in a big sh*thole with his bookie. Anyone trying to offer advice is wasting time and energy on a lonely person with a lack of brains. Even though everything he writes is fake, I keep hopin gthis hypothetical bookie will kick his ass.
He's going to continue to take the opposite position of every piece of advice he gets so that the thread continues. He did it in his last thread. This is all bull shit, and needs to end. Read his last posts and you'll see that this is fake. It needs to die - ignore, and it will go away.

ok so i think im finally getting a grip on what everyone is saying. After thinking long and hard, betting 2-3% of a balance isnt worth it. Just knowing myself, even trying this isnt worth the risk. Its just adding more fuel to my gambling addiction, when i really need to be trying to stop! Im compulsive and thats a fact. The last thing i want is to be stressed out because of gambling when im older and have a family . Im not even going to take a risk gambling on sports like that, becuase i dont know what it could lead to and i dont want to find out.
All i really want to do is stop being compulsive. And in a few years when im legal...go to atlantic city with some friends and come with a few hundred just for entertainment purposes. I want to be a normal gambler.
The only problem with this is that...in my gamblers anonymous handbook...there is a Q&A section, and one of the questions reads...
"Can A Compulsive Gambler Ever Gamble Normally Again"..
Answer in the handbook: "No, the first bet to a problem gambler is like he first drink to an alcholic. Sooner or later he or she falls back into the same old destructive pattern. Once a person has crossed the invisible line into irresponsible uncontrolled gambling he or she never seems to regain control. After abstaining a few months, some of our members hae tried some small bet experimentation, always with disasttrous results. The old obsession inevitably returned. Our gamblers anonymous experience sems to point to these alternatives: To gamble, risking progressive deterioration or not to gamble, and develop a better way of life.
So GA is saying I will never be able to gamble normally again. Does this mean i have to stop for my whole life?..I am only 17 and havent stepped foot into a casino once in my life. I would like to experience one at some point in my lifetime you know?..what do you guys think

As ive stated before in some of my previous posts i am 17. I just lost 1400 to a bookie after chasing my losses.
My parents dont even know about this but after seeing my recent report card, and knowing my gambling habits for the past few years. They have decided to take me to a ga meeting.
I keep telling them im not going, but they keep telling me that i have no choice.
My parents said they will be in a seperate room from me, so il be in a room with all the other gamblers im guessing.
Do i share my stories about this bookie i lost 1400 to?..I still dont want my parents finding out. I dont know what i should do. Should i go?
You're 17 and you've been gambling for a few years.
Hell no don't go. All they can do is beat or ground you.

Leave this shit alone.Period
