hunt...Thanks hunt. I really thought we had that one for a while there buddy. Carson with that sketchy sideline pass when things were seemingly under control
Fade...Nah I still miss it. Always been a big NFL player just never tried posting for a season before. So far so good, hopefully my luck continues. With that being said the pigskin success is for sure making things a little less miserable. As long as they get things going on the ice by Christmas I'm good.
estes...Thanks, you're rolling along pretty hot yourself right . Tough beat at the ends of that Pats game. Those Seahawks are pretty damn scrappy.
The lion and the tiger may be more powerful, but the wolf doesn't perform in the circus.

My thoughts on the Broncos. Let's break down how they have really fared thus far. I read a few places here about how well the Broncos looked against a "tough" Steeler defense. I have also read about this tough schedule of theirs. Typed this in another thread and figured I would put it in my own.
A tough Steeler defense? My Raiders who are anything but lethal threw up
34 on that "tough" Steeler defense. The Titans with old man Hassleback
at the helm and Ronny Britt dropping everything that touched his hands
still threw up 26 on that same Steeler defense, and that was with
Harrison back on the team.
Let's take closer look at Denvers games.
Win
1: Beat a weak and injury riddled road team in the Steelers in the
opening Sunday nighter. No accomplishment there as even the Raiders and
Titans (against a healthier Steeler defense) managed the same task.
Win
2: Beat my very incompetent Raiders, who would be winless if not for
beating the only other team the Broncos were able to beat, by catching
that team injured and on the road just like the Raiders did. No
accomplishment here.
Loss 1: 27-21 To the Falcons. The game was
20-0 Falcons in the second quarter as they came right out and manhandled
them making Peyton look completely old and lost in the process. It was
27-7 in the 4th quarter when the Falcons took their foot right off the
pedal and a couple of meaningless, late touchdowns against a softer
defense made the score a more cosmetic looking 27-21 final.
Loss
2: 31-25 Texans. Again the game was getting out of hand in the 2nd
quarter as the Texans surged ahead 21-5. Just like the Atlant game the
game was essentially over at the start of the 4th quarter as the Texans
held a 31-11 lead. Once again two meaningless, late touchdowns against a
softer defense made the score a more cosmetic looking 31-25 final.
Loss
3: 31-21 Patriots. More of the same here. It was 17-7 Patriots in the
2nd quarter and 31-7 Patriots with 16 minutes to go in the game. Exact
same scenario as the two games above and again two touchdowns to make
the score look a more respectable 31-21.
Not so pretty when you
put it all under a microscope in my opinion. The Chargers might not be
god's gift to football either but there has been absolutely nothing at
all to this point for Denver fans to get the least bit excited about.
Should be a good close game tonight. Maybe the home team gets a crucial call or two go their way via the Zebra Monsters?
