MWC - what is your perspective on week 1 Boise v Mich St...both have inexperienced QB's, but Mich St has a shutdown best in Big 10 D...Do you think Mich St covers -7 v.Boise...In the past Boise has defeated better teams with innovative scheme, then with Oregon and UGA the last few years with scheme and developed talent...Boise does not recruit many elite players, but peterson is a great coach and specific guys flourish in that system...even last year's Boise D was not exactly shut down...now they have 9 new starters, some of which have playing experience, Harper coming back from injury plus issues at QB. At least Mich st is solidly behind Maxwell as he builds a rapport with his WR's...in addition, Mich St has a descent returning running game...this game is at night at E Lansing, against a rocking and rabid Mich St homefield crowd and Spartan team with reasonable BCS NC aspirations...My mind and my gut tells me that this game won't be close, despite Boise's proven systems and Peterson's prolific coaching...in addition, I think Deantonio is a NCAA D1 top 10 coach...he will have his troops prepared and motivated...my perspective...Boise hangs close for 1.5 quarters, then Mich St pulls away and wins by DD...I will appreciate yours et al perspecdtive on this game...
