I'm not sure were your seeing 40/48 but I'm seeing huge disparity as Duke's played 115 while Virginia's played 53rd. Big difference. Line should be Duke -4 but didn't open that high, more of a value play vs a Duke team that is 4-1 vs spread while Virginia is winless vs the spread. Some disparity between databases, line opening and home team favored less than 4 in my opinion.

Per ESPN.com article incase you guys did not know just looking out :-)
"Kentucky sophomore quarterback Maxwell Smith is out indefinitely with a torn left ankle ligament that will require surgery.
Smith injured his ankle on the second play of Saturday night's 38-17 loss to South Carolina. He had missed the previous game at Florida with a separated shoulder.
Wildcats coach Joker Phillips said Monday that he will seek a medical hardship for Smith if he cannot return this season.
The Wildcats (1-4, 0-2 Southeastern Conference) will rotate freshmen Jalen Whitlow and Patrick Towles for Saturday's SEC game against No. 20 Mississippi State (4-0, 1-0).
Whitlow relieved Smith and was 12 of 23 passing for 114 yards, running for a touchdown as Kentucky led 17-7 at halftime. He was intercepted twice and sacked six times as the Gamecocks rallied with 31 unanswered points."

Ok let me dabble a bit Kent State is 3-1 while E.Michigan 0-4. Oddsmakers open at 3.5 easy win for Kent right? While almost 60 percent of the market on Kent State line dropped to 3 but already paid for it receiving 3.5 at home. Kent is 3-1 vs the spread while E. Michigan 1-3 vs spread. E Michigan has played the 45th toughest schedule while Kent is in 115 range. I look for a hard fought game at home today and the market is disagreeing with me but some of the so called sharp money is agreeing with me. Kent won at home 28-22 last year and gotta expect a close one here again.

Nice win and excellent strategy...the books don't offer enough limit on these prop bets from my perspective but it's definitely worth a look for future plays. Some of the NCAAF sites I utilize are masseyratings, college injury report, teamrankings, ncaaf statistics, greymatterstats, sbrlines, vegasinsider and about 5 more advanced mathematic sites. Covers offers some great perspective points and line coverage history. Si1ly has a nice database for NFL that he offers for no charge and has been able to choose the right buys to create a strong ROI so far this season for Sunday's games.
