I hear you about the classwarfare, but I am not sure how this makes sense...
Romney did not actually use the 47% thing... but it was used against him by Progressives and obama with the leaked video... but isnt 53% more then 47%? Why wouldn't the 53% vote for romney and beat the 47% that vote for the "foodstamp/welfare president"?
you give obama too much credit... if he is a bad leader and people are not confident in him, why would they follow his lead on classwarfare?
But this is why I think that Romney was a horrible choice from the classwarfare angle... I think it was pretty obvious based on obama's 2008 campaign, stances from progressives, the occupy movement etc. that this was the card they were going to play...
And out of All the candidates, romney was the Absolute Worst Loser card to play against the class warfare card...
literally anyone would have been better other then donald trump who birthers were championing as a possible candidate...
perhaps what is igniting things is being laid off, being unemployed, being underemployed, not having full time work... well perhaps fueling things...
the middle class is pissed that the rich are getting richer and life for them has gotten harder... especially after their tax money was redistributed to the rich in the form of bailouts... and I their because their perception is that the rich and corporations use tax loopholes to avoid paying a proportional amount of taxes that a simple flat tax would give us...
So then to run romney of all people with the climate at that time seemed like such poor choice in strategy...
and that whole Romney Tax Returns Debacle... where he could not be honest and transparent... honestly to me romney dodging paying taxes is far less of an issue in comparison to the character/moralfiber perception...
If romney decides to be transparent, what would have happened is that dems would have had a hissy fit... eventually that dies downs and I would have been like liberals stfu... enough... and romney walks away looking like he is honest, confident and appearing to have taken personal responsibility and accountability of his past... a solid foundation for a future of better choices...
But instead romney and the GOP made a poor choice in how they conducted themselves.. and it still allowed the progressives to sling their mud...
while romney looked cowardly, secretive, dishonest and negatively effecting the perception of his character and who he was a person... and did so in such a fatal way that the liberals crying out "tax cheat! tax cheat!" could ever do....
so with climate at that time and knowing that obama/progressives would play the "class warfare card"...
other than trump, wouldnt you agree that romney probably The Worst Possible GOP candidate?
