@Ronnie--not bein a dick at all but what facts or stats for this years team indicates the boise/msu game will be tight? i havent found anything
We might just have to settle on our differences of opinions here nick. 80% of offense production gone from last year for MSU. MSU's QB playing first meaningful snaps in career, and just don't see a Peterson coached team being a rollover. I don't see this new QB coming out first game and shredding this team.

Michigan St returns 4/5 of their O line, and stud RB Leveon Bell. Boise has 1 returning starter in their front seven. What makes you think Dantoni plans to throw the ball?
Not to mention Mich St with best defense in Big Ten. And tell me, how many meaningful snaps has Southwick seen while backing up Kellen Moore?

My post is in response to the assertion that it won't be a close game. Both teams will be inexperienced at QB. I feel the game will be closely contested and that I don't foresee a blowout of a Peterson coached team who I am sure knows that MSU will want to rely on running that ball.

If you have a dominant defense which state does the offense just has to manage the game...look at lsu ly, boise is not good this year, there is no talent there, Nevada will win that conference...look at Texas and Florida when tebow and mccoy and the rest of the stars left, those programs three years later are still not back to great yet and their recruits are 10x better than boise
