LOS ANGELES +4.5 ( 2 units ) Taking the Sparks +4.5 in this one. It's actually a play against the Silver Stars who are going for their third win in a row versus Los Angles this season. Three consecutive wins against any team that is playing above .500 ( LA 10-5 ) merits a play on the other side. There was a similar situation this week as Indiana was going for 3 in row against the Dream. Well Atlanta downed Indiana 70-58 coincidentally in an early afternoon game just like today. I think this game follows suit and I can't ignore this situation, the Sparks were embarrassed this past week getting crushed by the Stars 91-71 with the reserves playing most of the second half.

*I'm unfortunately on the other side today, and it's quite rare I play favs in WNBA. Ive said all year Sparks are simply playing over their heads...and its shown recently. On top of it, you have ZERO idea when Parker is gonna sit a game for rest. This just simply not a good matchup for the Sparks. The Stars have numerous bodies to throw at Parker...Young is too savvy for Ogwumike...and Hammon is better than Toliver. So that leaves Beard/Milton-Jones against the likes of Christon/Robinson/Perkins...
Parker is the only clear advantage I see in favor of the Sparks. Im gonna wait a few hours I think this gets down to -3

I can't help but think the fatigue factor plays a bigger role than revenge. These gals can't handle the heavy loads of a lot of games in a short span of time. Stars are well rested and playing at home while the Sparks are on the tail end of a shit load of games. GL and get back into the ++ soon Dines!

I agree. Plus, the Sparks just got blew out by Tulsa. San Antonio is the play for me.
