The problem with Romney was he couldn't deal with the human part of governing. He saw the US as a firm that needed a takeover, one that had the best revenue flow in the entire world. He was ready to turn the government into a bain capital takeover. The problem is every cut he'd make affects human lives even more than a company like Ampad. All he saw was numbers. That probably sounds exactly like what some people want, a business attitude in charge of the executive branch, a CEO-type. But that doesn't work in governing. These people are all citizens and voters. I don't think Romney ever saw that. Like his comment about the housing market, he'd just let it fail and hit bottom. Thats not what people wanted, sure its cut-throat capitalism and the way its supposed to be, but its also peoples lives ruined, he never understood that.
