Top play on the Cyclones upset of TX Tech was good, the rest 50-50.
Haven't been on much of a run past few days, more like walking backwards.
Looks like Michigan St will still be without Josh Langford and Kyle Ahrens tonight.
The Cornshuckers will be gunning for a school record 21 straight home victories in Pinnacle Arena. Big game. Nebraska sure plays a lot better at home than they do on the road. I'm sure the atmosphere there will be electric and the Big Red faithful will be rockin'. Great place for an upset of the #6 ranked team(polls) in the country. Should be a great game. FS1.

I was just being facetious Nicky because I normally play the home dog in situations like this.
I like Sparty. What's not to like other than Langford being out. They've covered 13 of 16 and their last 4 on the road. Don't get me wrong, I think Nebraska is a really good team and they have a strong hca.
I just believe Mich St is one of the elite teams and they play both ends of the floor as good as anybody. Few teams play defense as well as they do and can also be as highly efficient and explosive offensively with few turnovers like they can. Not to mention they hit the boards like gangbusters. They have maybe the best pg in the country with Cassius to direct things and control the flow of the game. Gotta give the coaching edge to Izzo in big games.
Off the top of my head I believe KP has Sparty #3 on O and #8 on D. You can look up their offensive and defensive efficiencies on other sites as well. Their SOS is one of the highest. For that matter so is Nebraska's.
It's not a big play. I will respect Nebraska's long run ar home.

Hey that's some good stats there.. I don't have a good site that shows me the matchups that well... I know Langford is out... what's their record w/o him on the floor against a solid team?
Nebraska hasn't lost in a long time... if Mich st was healthy I could ML the game in a heartbeat but that line would be -4.5 or so... I got burned for $500 last week on a parlay all I needed was stjohns.. didn't know Ponds was out... because the line was 8
I deserve that burn for "assuming he was playing, whats the best site for complete stats h2h home/away .. and scoring D and O like you listed!

Donbest has all of those stats you were asking about. I use the classic setting. Good luck with your capping.

Sparty has won 10 straight so they are unbeaten with Langford and Ahrens out.
Team Rankings has all kinds of stats, metrics, efficiency %, etc. The NCAA puts out stats. You can go to VI to see the complete schedules of teams, with spreads and o/u wins, scores, etc. I'm sure you know about Kenpom. There are forums, and newsletters that have good info on trends, power ratings, home-away stats, etc. I would advise you to stay away from their picks though. There are other sources, some free, others you can pay for, just google it and start digging.
I got burned on that Shamorie Ponds deal too. Same with Tristan Clark out at Baylor and KSt sneaking Dean Wade into the Iowa St game. It takes time to look all that up for accurate information. I was travelling that day and couldn't. Don Best, scoresandodds, VI, etc is better than nothing but it is just general info. They are good when somebody is definitely out for a while. They generally list a ? or doubtful or probable(if they know about it all) which at least raises a red flag and that would be a good time to pass on the game unless you can find out more from local sources. Keep in mind coaches like to keep unknown info close to the vest. Once the game starts everybody knows the deal.
Injuries are part of the game just like football. I was on Duke at FSU and Zion went down in the first half. Then Monday night Reddish is out with an illness an Tre Jones goes down early leaving Duke without their two best shooters from deep. Lol Same with Colorado when their spark plug and leading scorer McKinley Wright went out early against the Huskies Saturday night. I had NC St Saturday vs Pitt and their big Center gets kicked out 2 minutes in and then pg Markell Johnson got knocked out of the game in the first half. It's in the game. That's the breaks. That's why they call it gambling.
If you want to know about Robert Franks status for Wazzu tonight go to RebelTell2 thread. He asked about it and I gave him a decent update on it.
I'm sure there is going to be sharp $ on Nebraska tonight, it's their kind of play. Sparty is going to be a big public play. But the public wins too. If they didn't they would quit playing. The line is designed to beat the sharps for the most part. Why? Because they are less likely to give the $ back quickly due to strict money management and disciplined play. The Joe's give it back quick. They Double up when they are down, and increase their wagers after they have won, back their favorite teams, etc.
