Yea I want to take Woz, but its hard to know how she will approach this match already qualified and onto the next round. Garcia will come out aggressive with nothing to loose and having to win this match. You never know if we will see a repeat of Pliskova vs Osta where Pliskova was already into the next round and didn't show much effort and lost...

Also, another thing to think about: If Woz loses then she faces Pliskova who she is 5-3 against. If she wins vs. Garcia she will face Venus who she is 0-7 against. You have got to think that her and her camp are discussing this and thinking about these tactics. I might take Garcia here...
Halep 100%. I just watched the Svitolina press conference she said she wishes she didn't have to play another match. She is def checked out....

Keep in mind Wozniacki has played over 70 matches this year, that's the most of any player here and her style of play is energy intensive, her game isn't one that earns her a lot of quick free points. Add in the fact she has no motivation to win this match, and frankly i don't she how she's worth paying minus odds for.
Fly in the ointment is Garcia is still a fu*king idiot on the tennis court, sporting a low IQ that undermines her otherwise decent amount of talent/skill, and that's precisely the kind of player Wozniacki's game can eat alive if she (Garcia) isn't finding the lines (and why it's no surprise Woz is 2-0 against her not having lost more than 3 games in any of the 4 sets they've played: Garcia still has a lot of maturing to do).
I'm happy to deal with this one live, should be obvious early (within the first 5 games) if Wozniacki cares.

0-15 in her opening service game, easy smash at the net and she tries to hit it behind Wozniacki rather than taking the easy winner across her body towards the other side of the court where Wozniacki wasn't/would have no chance of getting to it - the result? she hits it way out. Moronic shot selection.

To answer your first question, read my initial post.
As for the second question, I'm just critiquing Garcia's play. I do that for many players, I'm not picking on her alone because I have any kind of specific issue with her. There are things I could critique Wozniacki for, but they aren't relevant while she's winning as easily as she is. Garcia isn't winning, and her abysmal errors warrant being called out.
