Back into it with four plays this weekend, all home teams the first week back from break:
Zlin (-122)
Jablonec (+115)
Jihlava +1, +1.5 (+109)
Bohemians (+107)
Something else to think about -- last year coming out of break, 18 of 24 matches went UNDER 2.5 goals during the first three weeks. I'm interested to see if that trend holds again this year.

Wash, GL & good to see you back. are we going on another Plzen streak this 2nd half??? or have there been roster changes during transfers?
No major transfers in or out for Plzen, they should be set to continue their undefeated run. Although 15-0-1 will be tough to match. Plus money (+127 ) this weekend at Olomouc it might be worth a shot. But Olomouc are no slouch, and they didn't lose at home in the first half (6-0-2).

6 of the 8 this wknd did indeed say under, and the two that went over were late goals. thats a pretty good analysis.

nice wknd wash, 3-1 aint shabby for this league. "Something else to think about -- last year coming out of break, 18 of 24 matches went UNDER 2.5 goals during the first three weeks. Thanks! It was a nice first week back indeed. I didn't post this so I can't count it, but I decided to play all 8 matches UNDER 1.5 at prices anywhere from +160 to +300. It went 4-4 for a nice payout of +435. Was one minute away from 5-3, but Sparta scored in the 95th to win 2-0. I'll probably try it again for at least one more week.

No play on the Friday match, although I'm tempted to take a shot at the draw.
I'm going to play all 8 matches UNDER 1.5 again this week, including tomorrow's Dukla / Jablonec match at +200. But I won't include those in my totals. Be back later with the weekend's picks. Congrats to Plzen for advancing in the Europa!

i do a similar thing at the start of season with Serie B, blanket draws right across the board the first 2 weeks (ha). wont get me a new lambourghini, but on the flip side of it, always ended up in the black.
U 1.5's? geez, i have a hard nuff time with 2.5's?
yeah, like Loose mentioned, is it safe to board the 'Plzen Train' now?

I'm sticking with home teams again this weekend. I'm also playing UNDER 1.5 across the board again this weekend.
Slovacko +.5 (-110)
Teplice (-105)
Karvina (+125)
Even though they had a midweek Europa League match, Plzen should roll this weekend against the worst team in the league. But at -2.25 there's no way I can play them.

cazzo!!!! did you just hit a +500 on that under? geez.
good thing the books hung juice on the -2, if hadnt I woulda been on em. i wonder what the closing line was on that one today. sheesh! nice start wash.

I got +450 on the Plzen / Jihlava UNDER 1.5. Nice payout indeed.
I think Jihlava was something like +1800 to win outright. I can't imagine anyone actually bet that, though. Probably the biggest upset in this league since I started following it 4-5 years ago.

The UNDER 1.5s were another success last week, going 6-2 for a profit of +1160. Jihlava's big 1-0 win over Plzen at U1.5 +450 certainly helped. Looking back at the past couple of years' results, I'm playing U1.5 across the board again this week (and maybe even next week), as scoring doesn't tend to pick up until the 5th week or so after break. However -- books have adjusted, and most U1.5 numbers are in the +160 / +240 range, down significantly from the past two weeks. Still, going 3-5 should turn a profit. Here are the sides I like:
Jablonec Pick, +.5 (-115)
Jihlava Pick (+100)
Boleslav +.5, +1 (-115)
Liberec & Olomouc ML parlay (+160, .5 units)
This is a long time coming, but I'm finally going to try my hand at the Slovak Superliga. I've been following for a while, and feel like I'm ready to jump in. Slovak plays are just 0.5 units each. I know this league isn't offered everywhere, but here's who I like this weekend:

Still doing well with sides, but the goals started flowing last week, and I think the UNDER 1.5 party might be over. 1-6 last week for a loss of -400. I'm not going to try it again this week. Three sides I like:
Bohemians Pick, +.5 (-110). Slovacko are a poor home team, and getting the Kangaroos to win or draw at roughly even money is my play. I might also take a little bit to win outright at +250.
Jablonec (-115). This one seems a little too obvious, which has me worried, but I'm going to give it a shot anyway.
Olomouc +1 (-102). Olomouc are third in the table for a reason, and while Slavia are the better side (and at home), I think Olomouc has a better chance to pull a draw than to lose by two goals.
The Slovak league has now split (a f*ing bizaare format if ever there was one), with the top 6 teams fighting it out for spots in Europe, with the bottom 6 fighting for relegation. I'm only going to focus on the top 6 for the rest of the season. I'll take two tomorrow (.5 units each):
Trnava (+235). This one should be close to even, and at this price I can't resist.
Zilina (+170). Slovan Bratislava have the name recognition, which is the only reason they're favored here. I like this price on what I think should be the favored side at home.

took Jihal on friday for a nice payout was thinking to fade Plzen today cuz of the europa in midweek but a peek at the table and im not so sure they want to be dropping any more pts though a 9 pt lead is still a nice cushion.

Sorry, didn't see this in time. I leaned with Liberec getting +.5, but obviously I didn't play it. Plzen is definitely in a slump right now and not playable in my opinion.
Glad you hit with Jihlava. I have no idea what's going on with them -- four straight wins, taking them from bottom to 10th place! Two road wins for a team that scored a total of 4 away goals in the first half. Not sure if it can last, but they may have done eanough to keep them inthe top league.

I'm going to take the UNDER 2.5 (-115) in today's match between Liberec and Brno. Brno have real trouble scoring on the road, so Liberec might have to score all 3 for this one to go over.
I'll post the rest of the weekend's plays later on. Best of luck to all.

That under wasn't looking good at 2-0 at the half, but a goalless second brings it home. Tomorrow:
Dukla +.5 (+120). It's tough to back Dukla, especially away, but Ostrava are deservedly at the botom of the table, and could be depleted from a midweek Mol Cup match. I'll take Dukla to win or draw at + money.
Sparta Pick (+105). The Prague derby should be a good one, an I like to home team. The DRAW at +200 is also tempting.
Slovak pick (0.5 units):
Trnava (+130). Getting + money again on the best team in the league at home. Too good to be true? I'll go for it a second week in a row.

Absolutely brutal way to miss out on a perfect weekend in the Czech league. Slavia comes all the way back from 3-0 down, getting a penalty in the 95th minute to force a 3-3 draw with Sparta.
Similarly, in the Slovak league Trnava was looking great when Zilina had a man sent off in the 52nd. 40 minutes of play a man up, plenty of shots on goal, just couldn't get one in.
Good weekend, should have been even better. See you all next week.

Nice to be back after the break. I'm playing both of Friday's Czech matches so I'll get these all in today:
Dukla Pick (+110). Olomouc are the better side, but there's no way they should be such a heavy favorite away. Dukla are a sneaky good home team, and I think a Pick at + money is a steal.
Jihlava +.5, +1 (-133). I'm not forgetting that before their recent run Jihlava have been an absolutely dreadful team on the road. But Ostrava are absolute garbage, even at home, and there is no reason for them to be such favorites here.
Teplice Pick (+150). I have no idea what is going on with this number, unless people are blindly betting Sparta on name recognition alone. Teplice are unbeaten at home this year, and Sparta have won only 2 of 10 away matches. A Pick at this number is a heck of a deal.
Slovak pick:
Spartak Trnava Pick (+115). I think the wrong team is favored here, and I'm riding Trnava yet again. I'm also taking a bit to win outright at +195, but I'll only use my Pick selection here. I'm going up to a full 1 unit on the Slovak league this week.

Wash, am on Jihlava myself, figured id scroll down to see if you had any updates for this weekend (and keeping my fingers crossed). that line scaring me too, cant freaking figure out why they are such nice prices though i fear they might be 'reverting back to normal' after last rounds thrashing figured id try them one last time. i mean, these guys beat the 1st, 2nd, and 4th place clubs since break.

Revert back to normal they did. 3-1 loss at lowly Ostrava.

Real bad weekend last time out. Hopefully I can turn it around. Two sides and a parlay I like:
Brno +1 (-105). Slavia laying way too high a price. Brno are bad, but they hold their own at home, and I don't see them losing by 2 goals.
Zlin (+125). Ostrava are going to be my new favorite team to fade on the road until they show me they can do anything. Coming off their big win last weekend I think they should be ripe for a letdown.
Liberec & Sparta moneyline parlay (+118). Two home sides facing weak opponents. These parlays are always dicey but I like this one.
Slovak pick:
Dunajska Streda (DAC) +.5 (-115). Worth a small shot to win outright at +295 as well. This one should be tight, I'm not seeing any reason for Trencin to be such favorites.
