A day. saved only by decent payout on Kortjik, but other than that, nothing much to add. writeups on the two Serie A pretty much went as expected, naturally I laid off both. ALL 8 Serie B matches went over 2.5 I cant remember when (if ever) was the last time that happened. no plays tho' couldnt help but notice, Real thumps Valencia then comes right back around and blows the lead (TWICE) vs one of the weakest offenses in Liga. what the.....?
on to today:
Verona/Roma - if uve been reading my writeups youll notice im not a big fan of backing teams in the hope they break out of 'slumps', i usually like to wait a game or even two. Roma is right down there at the bottom with Inter in regards to form. difference is Inter really has no "excuses". Roma? a BIG distraction is now out of the way, 'Dzeko is staying'. and tho on road they have an opponent here whom has been really struggling of late and have conceded a ton at home (over 2 per match average). Napoli, Lazio, Inter, & Juve all visited and all banged in 2+. Dzeko will find the net today.
Roma -1.5 @+120
Atalanta/Chievo - this is Atalantas 3rd in 7 days, just coming off a hard fought Coppa with Juve. under normal situations they should breeze here. but im starting to wonder how much they have left in the tank; and that letdown after playing Juve is real. in any case, I dont like these prices theyre hanging on home side & sure as h*ll am not backing Chievo on the road. PASS.
Bologna/Fiorintina - separated by a point & both stuck in mid-table. its hard to get a 'read' on either of these two at this point though Fior have dominated this series winning 6 of last 7. but I gotta take a PASS at this one as Fior just havent been scoring enuff to back them on the road here.
Udinese/Milan - Milans 3rd in 7 days and coming off two tough ones vs Lazio; Im fully expecting them to come out flat here. Gattuso expected to make a few changes. Udines current form looks nice but take a closer look and theyve played 3 straight bottom dwellers. not sure if they have enuff to pull the win outright but I see a lot of value here for this one.
Udinese to win 1st half @+126
Juve/Sassuolo - Juve should win this 'comfortably'; and when I mean 'comfortably', it's the 1-0, 2-0 variety. dont like the prices on the HC and not touching the O/U with the way we are playing defense lately. PASS.
Cagliari/SPAL - another relegation battle between two teams whom need the points badly. but Cagliari much better in front of their own fans and SPAL are terrible on road. these two played twice already this year with Cagliari winning both by a combined 7-1 scoreline. really like both these.
Cagliari to win @+115, over 2.5 @+104
Benevento/Napoli - somewhat of a 'derby' just an hour separates them, give or take. this is actually Napolis first visit here. the big news out of Naples was ownership dangling a BIG carrot in front of Icardis nose to lure him over from Inter which has a lot of people wondering.
for this match Napoli should roll with ease; Napoli can name the scoreline vs Serie A' worst team & worst defense.
Benevento/Napoli over 3.5 @+125 (it wouldnt suprise me if Napoli hit this themselves)
Goalscorers Prop:
Gomez(Atalanta) to score anytime @+110 - hes banged in 4 in the last 3 H2H's vs Chievo.
Portugal:
Sporting -1 @-115
Finland Cup:
Pepo/HIFK over 3.5 @+135,over 4.5 @+325
GL to all
