I think the Zona Hawaii game will be a good one too
'da Bows are my favorite team , and always will be.One of my most memorable games ever was to be there to watch their victory over the Huskies to earn a berth in the Sugar Bowl . To be there to see it was special , and I still have my Sugar Bowl T shirt as a momento. Last season, a fundamental flaw in their offense was exposed in their game vs Army , and most other teams picked up on it during the season. I will enjoy watching the game , but I'll pass on betting either way on them until i see how they fare in Week 0 .

For the record, there were no advanced analytics in the "old days" because game level data was not being collected or published. Anyone who claims to have been an early adapter of advanced analytics, is exaggerating. You cannot have advanced analytics without game/player level data collection. And this did not start untii circa 2012 or so.

To the Forum , Combato has a history of throwing Bulls**t out there in hopes there are some on the Forum that are foolish enough to believe him,
In regard to the point he made as underlined above , the Elias Sports Bureau has collected performance data on most sports SINCE 1013 !!!!!!
I began my capping career in 1982 , and I recieved most of my valuable capping data from Box scores in the Sunday Sun Times and the Tribune . It was at that time that I learned the most about stats and what they can tell you and what they cannot. How you can take stats , and if used properly , can be predictive resource. Some of us " Old " cappers used to laugh about the old days and what we did with the limited information we had. Combato , box scores have been around a long time as well. Later in the ' 80's College and Pro Football Newsweekly began publishing weekly data on matchups and cumulative stats , that saved a lot of hours for me in data collection. When the Computer age ramped up NCAA.org provided with a wealth of data in a downloadable format.
All of this was well before the 2012 date he referred to , then,we, as cappers had to be more efficient and resourceful in how we chose to use it.
Combato's baseless claims on any number of subjects ( including Capping info ) should be researched thoroughly if you intend to accept any of them as fact.
Combato , so much for your promise in post # 16 not to engage in any more negative commentary.
You have no credibity on this Forum . I hope you choose to begin to earn some, and respect others in the process.
