Good to see you Wise! Did you have a good year in NCAA Football? We missed you on the forum!!
Thanks Bud. Much appreciated..I did well in week 1 with ND and Ole Miss. After seeing both QB's struggle somewhat after that , I decided to spend more time writing an analytic on the subject of " Inconsistency at the QB position ' to add to my capping method. The study and results proved to be helpful in improving my ability to avoid wagering on matchups that are not likely to be profitable, which should be a benefit to me for seasons to come.
Since I did not post my plays last season , I won't discuss my results either.
Thanks for your kind words.
Blessings and Good Luck this coming CFB Season. Bud

Makes a lot of sense! Inconsistent QB leads to loses! Hope to be able to hit you up with questions this NCAAFB season. Seems one can learn lots from you!

Thanks , Bud . I found in working on the analytic, that Quarterback
inconsistency can be identified in the capping process and
rather than try to quantify it , I use it in my prescreen process and
choose to disqualify that matchup for wagering consideration.
The methodology is similar to what I utilize to indicate the
likelihood of turnovers in a given matchup , and use it to prescreen
a matchup as well.
Yes you can quantify the likelihood of turnovers in a given matchup
in the capping process . I've used my method for this for over
20 years, and I have found it to be a reliable indicator. To all of
those who say " You can't cap turnovers " is a factually incorrect.
statement..( similar to add 3 points for home field advantage ).
It's another tool I utilize to avoid matchups that are not likely
to give me an accurate measurable result in the capping process.
These data points prove to be very helpful in obtaining consistent
results.
Good Luck To you this season.

FWIW , As CFB has evolved since I started doing this , the QB's
role and decision making process has become increasingly more
important in determining the outcome of most matchups , thus
requiring the increased ability for cappers to accurately assess
and quantify production from this position. It's not always easy as
QB's can look great in some matchups , and yet struggle in others.
