Getting busted is very bad.
Marijuana is the most medicinal plant known to man, and is thus very good.
I understand that is difficult for you to compartmentalize, but they actually are distinguishable.

As of Jan 12, 2012 when Kirkpatrick left Alabama and said he was going into the NFL he was no longer an Alabama player and what he done/does is his own business. This happen on Jan 17, 2012.
This has nothing to do with the University of Alabama.

I don't think it will hurt him on getting drafted he may have to take extra piss test here and there.
Since we talking about getting caught smoking weed while in college do you think less of the Hesiman Trophy since a weed smoker was invited to set in on the Heisman selection.
Now why you won't to say i smoke weed, you don't know me. Have you been taking your meds lately.

I am highly disappointed in you saying i will be "less" ignorant after watching those documentaries. Get off your moral high horse because your feeling may have gotten hurt since an Alabama player made a bad decision. Dre wasn't driving but both he and the driver were under the influence of marijuana. The fact was they were pulled over after weaving back and forth on the road. The fact that they could have 'killed" someone while driving under the influence seems to escape you and the dumbasses who are offended that i called Dre a "thug". A bad decision was made. One that could have led to them killing somebody while driving under the influence. The decision to smoke weed will also bring up character issues for some NFL teams. It's not like they think it was his first time to smoke weed. Does it make him a thug? Not necessarily but it does make him an immature, irresponsible young adult who needs to get his head out of his ass and do more positive things in his life instead of smoking weed.
My post wasn't about the evil of big pharmacutical companies and the benefits of hemp oil(medical marijuana etc.) I agree with you and Wheels on most of those issues.
Funny things is assholes like doubleup who post dumb shit and probably get high and drive. My college girlfriend was killed by an "athlete" who was high on marijuana while driving back in 1993. So don't tell me that "Marijuana does NOT equal bad"
You are more ignorant for thinking that. It has some great benefits(at least THC does) but 99% of people that mess with marijuana could give a fuck less about those benefits and only smoke it to "get high"
1. I didn't call you ignorant.
2. The definition of "ignorant" is "uninformed," and is in no way a derrogatory term. I make the same points when anyone is busted for a marijuana offense, and defended the HB when he was suspended for smoking legal weed. Legal weed, however, is no longer legal, and quite a few people have died from mixing the legal weed with other drugs. No one has ever died from ingesting marijuana in any form. Nevertheless, if we actually lived in a free, constitutional republic, our government wouldn't concern themselves with what people put in their bodies. It's none of their business.
3. I am not on a moral high horse. I am on my soapbox however. I am taking advantage of this opportunity to hopefully educate some people about the evils of the psychopaths who currently run our country, big pharma and the truth about marijuana.
4. Don't disagree with anything you've said about Kirkpatrick except that I don't think he can necessarily be branded a thug just because he was busted for marijuana possession/use. Now he may very well be a thug, I just don't think this incident, in and of itself, constitutes prima facie evidence of thuggery.
5. I do think it will hurt him in the upcoming NFL draft. I don't think it'll be enough to push him out of the 1st round, but it'll definitely hit him where it hurts most - the wallet.
6. I know you're post wasn't about government corruption and the corruption in the pharmaceutical industry, but I took it upon myself to get on my saopbox and preach nontheless. Sorry for hijacking your thread.
7. Sorry for your loss. Sudden tragic accidents like that are always the toughest.
8. I agree that 99% of the people are not smoking weed for its medicinal purposes.
9. If you can stand one more documentary, watch "Run From the Cure." It's specifically about how hemp oil cures cancers and many other maladies.

Apricot seeds are the best form of vitamin B17.

WOW jwheels!!! I have a whole new respect for you!!! You actually know what you're talking about. Who knew???
Cancer is a great example. Cancer exists because our government and Big Pharma want it to exists. Most of them know that cancer is almost entirely preventable, and they also know there are literally hundreds of cures for cancer. Hemp oil is one of them.
Why don't you know about this you ask??? Because cancer is a multi billion dollar industry, and they don't want you to know about it. They want you to be totally dependant on them and their expensive treatments. Can you imagine how many businesses would go under and how many people would be put out of work if the people knew how to prevent and cure cancer without the help of doctors and big pharma???
No, you will NEVER hear about any cancer cure that doesn't involve doctors and very expensive, unnecessary treatments from the propoganda channels of the mainstream media.
Our government has taken their war against cancer prevention and cures even further by criminally prosecuting any doctor who dares to cure cancer, and by attempting to outlaw every conceivable remedy such as hemp oil and vitamin B17. Now they escalating their war even further by attempting to make ALL over-the-counter vitamin sales illegal, which would leave the people no defense against the cancer causing chemicals they poison us with in our food and drink everyday.
If you have a loved one who is battling cancer or are interesting in learning more, take the time to watch the following in its entirety.

Multiple sources were already cited. More can be cited, but because you failed to avail yourself of the sources already cited, there would be no point in me posting more.
Please cite your source for the "rambling, flowery, Bama/SEC apologist, homer, spin doctor BS" you allege.
Better stick to whatever it is you do, because you no absolutely nothing about law.
Weed is not only a lot less harmful than alcohol, it's not harmful at all.

I hear you buddy- i just have some issues with guys(thugs, kids or any other citizen) getting high and driving. Trust me, i know quit a bit about marijuana and its benefits. I agree with you on most of those points. But this has hit close to home for me and although many more people drink and drive it doesn't necissarily mean marijuana is "safe". To th uneducated person who knows nothing about the drug, yes it gets a bad rap. Same thing with steroids(which have many positive benefits if used correctly and not abused). However the euporic buzz of getting high is what attracts most kids to smoke it. Most don't smoke it for the "medicinal" benifits. Didn't mean to come off so harsh but it did sound like you were calling me ignorant. Apologies on my part. Once again, we agree on some points and disagree on others. Good discussion even in a "betting" forum.

Tacobell-
Thanks for the codolences- I know what you are saying because i was once one of those dumb immature "punks/thugs" - Yes most of us do those kind of things when we are young, dumb and full of juice as they say. I guess my thread was mainly about how Ware and Matthieu were chastized as criminals while this story got almost no press or comments. Like i said, in an earlier post, HB and Ware have some growing up to do and i am not happy at all with the decision they made but hopefully they can learn from it. As far as marijuana goes i smoked it when i was young and i agree it isn't as bad as alcohol but it isn't entirely "safe" as many have posted. Just because it doesn't kill you, doesn't make it safe. "High" is "High"- whether on alcohol, marijuana, opiates or whatever. And being "high" isn't the right choice when your future may be riding on it.

First of all you come in my thread and post some stupid ass smiley face bullshit when someone else calls me an idiot. You need to grow up. I've moved on from our issues in the past but apparently you can't do the same. I even started threads praising your Crimson Tide after they beat LSU. Maybe it's time for you to grow up. Do i think less of the Heisman Trophy because they invited a weed smoker to it? I never thought much of the Heisman Trophy as they give it to the best player on the best "winning" team most of the time. Instead of the best player period. This year was an exception and i was surprised as were many others. I've already posted my thoughts on Tyron Matthieu who i don't care for, so just give it a rest man. I don't know if you smoke marijuana or not. However you act like it so i threw that in. Meds? actually yes i ate several apricot seeds today- so yes, i did take my "meds".
