Rumour that Colorado have entered the bidding for Steve Ott from Dallas
Also
The Fourth Period: A source is saying the Flyers are actively looking for a number 1 goalie. The source is saying they could package Sergei Bobrovsky and possibly James van Riemsdyk for the right goaltender. The Flyers could be looking at Nikolai Khabibulin, JS Giguere and Ondrej Pavelec

White, being from Dallas,no news from Ott yet, promise i will get you or someone else from our area can confirm that. No confirmed rumors at all about Ott being dealt. Sort of hard to see Dallas dealing after a 4 game win streak, but personally I would love it, cant just say ok well we are good for now, what happens if we make the playoffs this year but then miss it the next 2+ years, gotta think long term, Joe knows that.
For Philly, i hear NYI will deal Nabokov for the right deal as well

As of 8:39 AM from Mike Heika here in Dallas, speaking to Joe:
``It's a great sign,'' said Nieuwendyk. ``We have been making strides forward for the past two weeks, and now we're seeing it all come together, and that's just a fantastic feeling. When you look at the details of our game and our compete level, you really are pleased and you really are encouraged.''
Encouraged enough to possibly stand pat before Monday's 2 p.m. trade deadline and resist the temptation to move valued veterans such as Steve Ott or Sheldon Souray?
``I honestly don't think much has changed in regards to how we look at our team,'' said Nieuwendyk, who chafes at terms like ``buyer'' or ``seller'' that get tossed around near the trade deadline. ``We are always open to deals that will help make us a better team now and a better team in the future. Those things aren't mutually exclusive. If a deal is presented, and it's the kind of deal that helps add a key piece that's younger or has more upside, then we have to study that deal. That's no different than it was two months ago.''

So it is being said, and may be old news, that Columbus wants star players 1st round picks and cash for Nash, never will happen at all. Looks like Columbus, most likely getting the 1st pick in the NHL Draft, will try and move him in the Summer, but then again, the GM for Columbus, may not even be there. Looks like the fans, as much as they love Nash, want him gone to get younger and quicker. Dunno.

That pretty much sums up how they've been playing this season.
