Trying something new, I am going with regression tonight.
1) Lynx -6.5
2) Storm -2.5
3) Storm UNDER 162
4) Lynx UNDER 166
Like the Lynx to get their revenge, and I think it will be a very physical game because that is how the Lynx thrive. Lots of hard fouls, half court game, good defense. They will try to force someone other than Ogwumike and Parker to beat them, and if they slow down either one, the Lynx will win easily....that being said, both Ogwumike and Parker are top 5 players in the world, so causing them problems won't be easy. On the other hand, the Lynx score the most inside points in the league, and they won't get those as readily against the Sparks. There could be a ton of free throws shot this game if the refs decide that this is a game for little girls....we'll see....the only knock on the WNBA that I have is if someone falls down, it is always a foul....you drive the lane and throw your leg out...it's a foul. Hope they don't ruin this game tonight.
My calculated total on the game is 173.......with regression you go against past results.
Ditto for the LIberty....they want an ugly game against the pretty, finesse game of the Storm. Knowing Laimbeer, he will have screamed defense and effort 2 minutes after their last loss.....he's a poor loser, which most winning players/coaches are. I expect a max effort, slowed down game from the Liberty, but I still like the Storm to win.

I've hedged out and have given myself a little bit of a middle opportunity.
Teams off 3 straight losses exact playing as an away dog in a non-divisional game are 18-6 ATS....10-1 ATS when the total is >156, covering the last 10 in this situation.
Liberty had Storm on the ropes last game and a never-heard-from-before sub came in and was throwing the ball into the ocean....if Sami doesn't make an appearance perhaps the LIberty will be there at the end.
p:L and pp:L and AD and not C and ppp:L and pppp:W and total>156

Very nice Indigo, even if you kept it a little more simpler, it's still got great results with a sample size over 60 games.
