It seems hard to believe that one of the best quarterbacks to ever play in the NFL, who has control over hiring those that work & play for him, cannot find a decent QB for his team. The hiring of Peyton Manning was the only one out of many that brought Denver back to it's glory days. When he acquired the present one I thought why? The guy's average at best and Minnesota didn't think he could take them anywhere (and foolishly picked up another team's QB who is like most...average at best, then turned around and paid him some ridiculous sum of money). Of course, this is just my opinion, so unless someone can enlighten me on this, I'll just be SMH. I don't get it.

Elite QBs dont grow on trees...they usually are locked in to the team they play for...almost impossible to have a trade these days for a legit qb...and free agent qbs are never truly elite, as they would already be locked up by their current team...so yeah, Elway has been swinging and missing alot since Peyton...atleast hes trying...sad thing is they have wasted an elite D all these years, and their title window is now closed for a very long time...plus the Broncos WRs and TEs are below average in talent so its not like Keenum has much to work with...RB Lindsay is a nice little spark plug, but he cant be your #1 option

Thank you for your input! I don't know when they last had a top draft pick (Tim Tebow?), but it seems there are a lot of good ones that are fast becoming stars, it's too bad they couldn't get one of them....Mulhomes, Mayfield to name a couple of late. If and when they ever get one, they'll need a new team to go with them by then.

Denver may have whiffed on Keenum but it doesn't compare to the guaranteed 84 million the Vikings gave to the vastly overrated Cousins. They won't make the playoffs either.
