Matt Wiman (10U)- Step up in competition here for Sass imo. Wiman has that tough gritty style that is going to make it rough for Sass to utilize his ground game. Wiman defends the tackle early and often, makes Sass fight his fight, and gives the young Brit the first loss of his career.
Stipe Miocic (8U)- I'm sold on Stipe. I don't know what else to say. I'm a big backer of Shane Del Rosario, and the way Stipe was able to fight with him really opened my eyes to how good this guy is. I see Struve getting tee'd off on early, putting him on the defensive until Stipe ultimately puts him down and finishes him.
Duane BANG Ludwig (5U)- Not surprising to me at all that everyone is on Che in this fight. Personally I see this as a very winnable fight for Duane Ludwig. He is light years ahead of Mills in the stand up dept. and that is where this fight will take place. Mills does have a bit of size on Duane and can land that big shot, but I think Duane plays it a little safer with Mills. He got a little reckless against Neer and Hardy which ultimately led to his downfall in both of those fights. Duane turns this into a technical muay thai clinic and pieces Mills up over 3 rounds. Take a look at the Bang ML and the decision prop.
Brad Tavares (5U)- Love this matchup. Cool to see Kong in the U. When I look at this fight though, for Watson to make his debut in front of the hometown fans against a sturdy fighter like Tavares, it's asking a lot. Tavares has steadily improved since coming off the show, setting up camp permanently at Xtreme Couture. I like him a lot in this fight.
