Recap: Browns 20, Raiders 17

Browns 20, Raiders 17: Brandon Weeden threw for 364 yards and connected with fellow rookie Josh Gordon on a 44-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter as Cleveland snapped a franchise-record 12-game road losing streak.

Gordon had six receptions for a season-high 116 yards and fellow first-year star Trent Richardson added a 3-yard touchdown run for the Browns (4-8), who secured their first road victory since Sept. 18, 2011.

Gordon gave Cleveland a 10-0 lead in the second quarter after racing past cornerback Ron Bartell and snaring Weeden's deep ball as he entered the end zone.

Carson Palmer hurled a 64-yard touchdown pass to Rod Streater with 17 seconds left in the third quarter. Palmer, who finished with 351 yards and two touchdowns, ended the Raiders' ensuing drive in the fourth with an interception to cornerback Sheldon Brown.

Richardson effectively handed the Raiders (3-9) their fifth straight loss by capping a 14-play, 94-yard drive with 3:27 remaining. The touchdown was Richardson's second in as many weeks.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Raiders TE Brandon Myers had a franchise record-tying 14 receptions for 130 yards and a touchdown. ... Cleveland's Phil Dawson made 41- and 35-yard field goals to extend his franchise record to 29 straight successful kicks before missing from 28 yards out in the third quarter. ... Weeden threw a pair of first-half interceptions, but the Browns did not surrender a point off those miscues. ... The Browns confirmed on Sunday that Eric Eucker, who was a member of the team's grounds crew, killed himself Saturday at their practice facility.
