Titans 26, Steelers 23: Rob Bironas kicked a 40-yard field goal as time expired to lift host Tennessee to its first win in four meetings with Pittsburgh.

Steelers kicker Shaun Suisham came up just short on a 54-yard attempt with 48 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter, his first miss in 12 tries this season. The Titans (2-4) gained 33 yards on five plays to set up Bironas, who booted the ball straight through the uprights to keep the Steelers winless in three road games this year.

Bironas also converted kicks of 22, 38 and 47 yards while Jamie Harper ran for a 1-yard touchdown. After Pittsburgh (2-3) rallied from a 16-10 halftime deficit to take a 23-16 lead, Matt Hasselbeck threw a 5-yard TD pass to Kenny Britt with 4:19 left in the fourth to forge a tie.

Hasselbeck completed 25 of 44 passes for 290 yards with an interception and Chris Johnson rushed 19 times for 91 yards. Tennessee totaled 94 yards on the ground after gaining only 52 in last week's loss to Minnesota.

Ben Roethlisberger connected with Mike Wallace on an 82-yard scoring play in the first quarter and Baron Batch had a 1-yard TD run for the Steelers, who have dropped five of their last six road games.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Pittsburgh C Maurkice Pouncey suffered a right leg injury on the team's first play from scrimmage and did not return. Pouncey appeared to get hurt when teammate Marcus Gilbert rolled up on his leg. ... Gilbert also injured his ankle in the second quarter, while RB Rashard Mendenhall hurt his Achilles and LB Chris Carter his right hamstring. ... Roethlisberger was 24 of 40 for 363 yards with an interception while RB Isaac Redman made four catches for 105 yards.
