Chris Ogbonnaya ran for a career-high 115 yards and a touchdown as the Cleveland Browns held on for a 14-10 home victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday.

Colt McCoy completed 17 of 24 passes for 199 yards and a score with one interception for Cleveland, which halted a three-game losing streak and won for just the second time in seven contests.

The Jaguars (3-7) got within 14-10 on Josh Scobee's 42-yard field goal with 5 1/2 minutes to play, and gained possession with 2:49 remaining after Phil Dawson missed a 38-yard attempt for the Browns.

But after getting to the Cleveland 1 with 13 seconds to go, rookie Blaine Gabbert threw a pair of incompletions, including one intended for Mike Thomas as time expired.

Gabbert threw for over 200 yards for just the second time in nine games, finishing 22 of 41 for 210 yards.

After a scoreless first quarter, Jacksonville took a 7-0 lead on Maurice Jones-Drew's 6-yard touchdown run with less than 11 minutes left in the second. Jones-Drew, who entered fourth in the league with 854 rushing yards, gained 87 on 21 carries.

Cleveland (4-6) forged a tie when Ogbonnaya ran for a 1-yard score with 3:21 remaining in the half and moved ahead on McCoy's 3-yard TD pass to Joshua Cribbs 2:45 into the third.

Ogbonnaya had 21 carries as Peyton Hillis and Montario Hardesty sat out with injuries.
