Auburn 30, Mississippi 22: Nick Marshall rushed for 140 yards and a pair of scores in an upset of the visiting Rebels - who have not won on the road against the Tigers since 2003.

Tre Mason had a rushing touchdown and finished with 62 yards receiving and 77 on the ground for Auburn (4-1, 2-1 SEC). The Tigers' defense held Mississippi's offense to 5-of-19 on third downs and recorded six sacks and Robenson Therezie returned an interception 78 yards for a touchdown with 1:39 remaining in the first quarter.

Jeff Scott rushed for 66 yards on six carries, including a 52-yard run in the third quarter that led to a 22-yard field goal for Mississippi (3-2, 1-2). Bo Wallace threw two touchdown passes to Donte Moncrief but the junior quarterback also threw two costly interceptions.

The Tigers led 20-6 at halftime on rushing touchdowns by Mason and Marshall and the interception return by Therezie. Auburn attempted a two-point conversion on its opening score but failed, and Mississippi scored on field goals of 42 and 44 yards by Andrew Ritter.

Wallace hit Moncrief for a 49-yard score with 5:55 remaining in the third quarter to cut Auburn's lead to 27-16. Wallace hit Moncrief again on a 13-yard score in the fourth quarter and the Rebels recovered two fumbles but were unable to convert them into points.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Auburn LB Cassanova McKinzy injured his neck on the last play of the first quarter and was carted off the field on a stretcher. He returned to the sidelines wearing a soft neck brace. ... Marshall is the first Auburn quarterback to rush for 100-plus yards since Cam Newton. ... Marshall joins Mason, Corey Grant and Cameron Artis-Payne as the fourth Tigers' player to rush for 100-plus yards in a game this season - the first time it has happened in program history.
