Bishop Sankey rushed for 162 yards on 36 carries and scored two touchdowns as the Huskies became bowl-eligible with the victory over the visiting Utes.

Keith Price threw for 277 yards and two touchdowns for Washington (6-4, 4-3 Pac-12), and Austin Seferian-Jenkins, the nation’s leading receiver among tight ends coming into the game, caught seven passes for 99 yards.

Utah (4-6, 2-5) was led by senior running back John White, who rushed for 142 yards on 22 carries and scored two touchdowns in his third straight 100-yard rushing game.

White scored on a 46-yard run with 5:37 remaining in the first quarter and tight end Jake Murphy ran in the two-point conversion for an 8-0 lead. The Huskies scored 21 unanswered points on two touchdown passes from Price and his 4-yard scoring run.

Sankey scored the final two touchdowns for the Huskies and became the 11th back in school history to surpass the 1,000-yard mark. He rushed for a career-high 189 yards last week in a victory against California.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Huskies are the only Pac-12 team that Utah has never defeated, losing all eight meetings. …Utah fell to 11-1 when White rushes for at least 100 yards. … Murphy, the Utes leading receiver coming into the game, did not catch a pass for the first time this season.
