: Quarterbacks Tevin Washington and Vad Lee combined for four touchdowns, three of them on the ground, as the host Yellow Jackets overwhelmed the struggling Eagles.

Washington and Lee rushed for a combined 125 yards and Zach Laskey ran for 101 as Georgia Tech (3-4, 2-3 ACC) outgained Boston College by a whopping 391-32 margin on the ground in snapping a three-game losing streak.

Chase Rettig threw for 264 yards and a pair of touchdowns for the Eagles (1-6, 0-4), the last of which pulled his team within 31-17 with 13:02 to go.

Washington had TD runs of 12 yards and one yard to give Georgia Tech a 14-0 lead early in the second quarter. Lee capped a 10-play drive with a 24-yard scoring run to make it 21-3 with 3:33 left in the first half and then found Anthony Autry for a 45-yard touchdown pass on the first play of the Yellow Jackets' next possession.

Rettig tried to rally the Eagles, who have lost five in a row for the second time in three years. He hit Alex Amidon for a 40-yard score near the end of the third and Chris Pantale for a 12-yard TD early in the fourth to make it a 14-point game. Georgia Tech sealed the win with a 15-play drive that lasted over eight minutes and was capped by David Sims' 7-yard touchdown run.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Eagles K Nate Freese entered as one of four kickers in the country who had not missed an extra point or field goal in 2012, but he missed a 52-yard attempt on the final play of the first half. ... Washington and Lee combined to complete 6 of 14 passes for 172 yards. ... Washington moved past 2,000 rushing yards for his career to become the second player in school history with 2,500 passing yards and 2,000 rushing yards.
