No. 25 Michigan 45, Illinois 0: Heisman hopeful Denard Robinson tallied 287 total yards and accounted four touchdowns as the Wolverines drubbed the visiting Fighting Illini.

Michigan (4-2, 2-0 Big Ten) produced 527 yards of offense. The shutout marked the Wolverines’ first since last season’s 58-0 victory over Minnesota.

Illinois (2-5, 0-3) recorded only 134 yards of total offense. Illinois quarterback Nathan Scheelhaase left after taking a big hit in the first half and did not return. Backup quarterback Reilly O'Toole threw for only 25 yards with an interception.

Robinson rushed for 128 yards and two scores and completed 7 of 11 passes for 159 yards and two touchdowns. He became the fourth quarterback in FBS history with 4,000 yards rushing and is only 447 yards shy of former West Virginia quarterback Pat White's record of 4,480.
