Central Michigan 32, Iowa 31: David Harman kicked a career-long 47-yard field goal with three seconds left to lift the Chippewas to the road upset.

Central Michigan (2-1) got within 31-29 on Ryan Radcliff’s second touchdown pass to Titus Davis with 45 seconds left but Radcliff’s two-point conversion pass sailed high. Jesse Kroll then recovered CMU’s second chance at an onside kick to set up Harman’s winning kick, his career-high fourth of the game.

Radcliff finished 26-of-35 for 283 yards.

Sophomore walk-on Mark Weisman led Iowa (2-2) with 217 yards and three touchdowns on 27 carries, including a score with 2:18 left to put Iowa up 31-23.

Weisman scored from 34 yards out on a fourth-down attempt for a 14-10 lead late in the first quarter before the Chippewas scored 13 straight for a 23-14 halftime advantage.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Central Michigan beat a Big Ten team for the first time since 2009 and is 5-22 all-time … Iowa junior kicker Mike Meyer broke a school record for consecutive made PATs and finished the game with the streak at 63 … CMU played 10 quarters before getting called for its first penalty of the season early in the third quarter.
